摘要： Die vorliegende Anmeldung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Behandlung von Holz und Holzwerkstoffen zur Verbesserung von Dimensionsstabilität und Oberflächeneigenschaften sowie zur Vermeidung von Rissbildung und einer Erhöhung der Dauerhaftigkeit. Genauer richtet sich die Erfindung zur Behandlung von Holz und Holzwerkstoffen auf ein Verfahren, bei dem das Holz oder der Holzwerkstoff einer thermischen Behandlung unterzogen wird und das Holz oder der Holzwerkstoff zumindest teilweise mit einem Melamin-haltigen Harz imprägniert wird. Anschließend wird das so imprägnierte Holz oder der so imprägnierte Holzwerkstoff mit Heißdampf bei maximal 125°C bevorzugt bis maximal 120°C, gehärtet. In einem weiteren Aspekt beinhaltet die vorliegende Anmeldung das aus dem erfindungsgemäßen Verfahren erhältliche, thermisch behandelte und mit Melaminharz imprägnierte und gehärtete Holz oder Holzwerkstoff. Schließlich stellt die vorliegende Erfindung die Verwendung von Melamin-haltigen Harz zur Imprägnierung von Holz und Holzwerkstoffen, die thermisch modifiziert werden oder worden sind, zur Erhöhung der Härte und Verringerung der Dimensionsänderung durch thermische Modifizierung, bereit. Das erfindungsgemäß hergestellte Material kann als Substitut für Teakholz verwendet werden.

摘要： A composition for increasing the fire resistance of a wood product in accordance with a particular embodiment of the present technology includes intumescent particles, gas-containing elements, and a binder in which the intumescent particles and the gas-containing elements are dispersed. The composition is configured to form a coating in which the intumescent particles are present at a concentration of at least 1% by mass, and the gas-containing elements are present at a concentration of at least 0.5% by mass. The binder includes a thermosetting polymer curable from a liquid state in the composition to a solid state in the coating. In the solid state, the binder has a Young's modulus of at least 7 GPa.

The unsaturated condensates are used in high solids unsaturated coating systems containing unsaturated oil-modified resins.

摘要： Stable, homogeneous thermosetting, liquid resin compositions useful for treating the surface of felted mineral fiber-board panels which are bonded with a hydrophilic binder to reduce sag and method of making the same. Compositions of this invention comprise a copolymer blend of (1) from about 25% to about 55% by weight, of a melamine-formaldehyde copolymer and (2) from about 75% to about 45% by weight of a urea-formaldehyde copolymer. These compositions may be stabilized through the addition of from about 0.05% to about 0.5% by weight of an ammonium hydroxidesodium hydroxide stabilizer solution. Resin compositions of this invention may be reduced with water and/or compounded with fillers and other materials or they may be used alone.
