    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intracavity probe for use with an MR system designed to operate at higher field strengths, and that does not include a π network or similar circuitry to match the high output imepdance of a coil loop, and does not include tuning circuitry tuned to the operating frequency of the MR system.SOLUTION: The probe includes a shaft, a balloon at one end thereof, and a coil loop within the balloon. The coil loop preferably includes two drive capacitors and a tuning capacitor, all of which in series. A junction node between the drive capacitors serves as a ground for electrically biasing the coil loop. Diametrically opposite the junction node, the tuning capacitor enables the coil loop to resonate at the operating frequency of the MR system. Each drive capacitor is connected to an output cable having an electrical length of S+n(λ/4). The output cables terminate in a plug that is used to connect the coil loop to an interface device for the intracavity probe.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid type thrombectomy catheter which extirpates the thrombus from the human blood vessel passed into a bent pipeline existing in the brittle blood vessel or from another celom. SOLUTION: The fluid type thrombectomy catheter is provided with an external catheter having a hollow part and an internal high-pressure tube dimensioned to allow the passage through the hollow part of the catheter. The distal side end of the internal high-pressure tube extends beyond the distal side end of the catheter and carries a jet cap for orienting one or more jets of brine heading the proximal end side toward the distal side end of the catheter. The catheter has a stationary stopping member which is arranged on the terminal end side and directed inward. The internal high-pressure tube has a movable stopping member which is arranged on the distal side and directed outward, engages with the inward directed stationary stopping member, and thereby positions a jet cap at a specific distance from the distal side end of the catheter. SOLUTION: A manual controller of an injector system includes an actuator to control the injector by force applied by the operator. The actuator gives the operator tactual feedback of pressure in the fluid path by connecting the fluid path to the fluid so as to permit fluid communication therebetween. The pressure isolation mechanism includes a first state generated when a lumen and an isolation port are connected and a second state generated when they are separated. A valve is usually in the first state and is switchable to the second state when fluid pressure in the lumen reaches predetermined pressure. A pressure transducer 980 can be connected to the isolation port of the pressure isolation mechanism so as to permit fluid communication therebetween.
