摘要： A recording and reproducing apparatus includes a revolving switch capable of selecting a predetermined folder from among a plurality of folders in a recording medium corresponding to a revolved position, a recording setter which sets, upon a recording mode, a first folder corresponding to a revolved position of the revolving switch, as an allocation destination of content data to be recorded on the recording medium, and a reproducing setter which sets the content data allocated to a second folder corresponding to a revolved position of the revolving switch, as a reproducing destination. The first folder and the second folder become the same folder out of the plurality of folders in the recording medium on the condition that the revolved position of the revolving switch in the recording mode is the same as the revolved position of the revolving switch in the reproduction mode.

摘要： Provided is a method of forming a pattern, including forming an actinic-ray- or radiation-sensitive resin composition into a film, the actinic-ray- or radiation-sensitive resin composition including a resin (A) including a repeating unit containing a group that when acted on by an acid, is decomposed to thereby produce a polar group and including an aromatic group, which resin when acted on by an acid, decreases its solubility in an organic solvent, a nonionic compound (B) that when exposed to actinic rays or radiation, generates an acid and a solvent (C), exposing the film to actinic rays or radiation, and developing the exposed film with a developer including an organic solvent to thereby form a negative pattern.

摘要： An optical time-domain reflectometer (OTDR) having a light-emitting element, a branching section, a light-receiving section, and a processing section. The light-emitting element emits pulsating measuring light when driven. The branching section applies the measuring light emitted from the light-emitting element, to an optical fiber to be measured, and branches the light supplied from the optical fiber. The light-receiving section receives the light branched by the branching section and detects a level of the light received. The processing section detects a level of the light supplied from the optical fiber after the OTDR is connected to the optical fiber, while not driving the light-emitting element. The processing section drives the light-emitting element only when the level of the light received is equal to or lower than a preset value.
