摘要： A LCD device that receives curing light sufficiently to thereby realize approximately uniform curing of the material of the sealing member without eliminating the conductive light-blocking members. A first substrate has a display area and a peripheral area located to surround the display area. The display area includes pixels arranged regularly. The peripheral area includes a sealing member, wiring lines connected to the pixels, and conductive light-blocking members. A second substrate is coupled with the first substrate. A liquid crystal layer is formed between the first and second substrates. The sealing member is formed to overlap with the wiring lines and the light-blocking members in such a way that a non-overlapping area of the sealing member with the wiring lines and the light-blocking members is equal to 25% per unit area of the sealing ember or greater.

摘要： A sheet finisher of the present invention includes jogger fences for jogging sheets sequentially stacked in a stapling section, and a stapler for stapling the sheets together. A CPU (Central Processing Unit) controls a jogger motor such that the jogger fences each move to a first position, a second position, and a third position in accordance with the width of sheets in a direction perpendicular to the direction of sheet conveyance. The first position is remote from the edge of a sheet stack in the direction of the width by a preselected amount. The second position is closer to the edge than the first position by a preselected amount and slightly overlaps the edge. At the third position, when the stapler staples the sheet stack, the jogger fence substantially contacts the edge in accordance with the width.

摘要： Provided is a method of manufacturing a liquid crystal display panel of high quality without wasting liquid crystal material. In a step for pressing both of transparent glass substrates against each other, liquid crystal spreads and air bubbles are exhausted through notch portions. A sealing material is crushed before the liquid crystal reaches the notch portions, and the notch portions are blocked. Accordingly, a gap between the transparent glass substrates is sealed in a state where the liquid crystal is filled therein. Moreover, at the same time, both of the transparent glass substrates are compressively attached to each other with the sealing material interposed therebetween.
