摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inject a modifier in a sediment conveying pipe with a good timing, by precisely grasping a flow rate of plague which is formed by pneumatic pressure feed. SOLUTION: Two pressure sensors 10, 11 which are provided in a conveying pipe 1 for conveying sediment, at an interval S which is less than the flowing pitches of plague, deliver their output signals to a control device 17 so as to obtain the flow rate and volume of plague flowing at present. Under instructions from the control device 17, the discharge pressure of a pump 15 and an operating and closing time of a switching device 16 which are provided in a pipe line 14 connecting between an injecting nozzle 12 and a modifier supply device 13 are controlled. Thus, a required volume of the modifier is injected into the conveying pipe 1 from the nozzle 12 with an optimum timing.

The outer tube assembly 13 is pulled out while the upper end of the drain material 16 is held down by a weight 20, and the drain material 16 is left in the ground 5.
