    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively read and interrupt reading of a meter in the case of interrupting a telephone channel caused by moving. SOLUTION: A gas metering unit 2 integrates gas flow rates detected by a gas flow detector 1 and holds a metered value. A controller 3 compares a present day and time of measuring by a timer 5 with a metering day and time held by a metered day and time holder, and generates a metering command when both coincide. The metered value held by the unit 2 is transmitted to a communicating unit 6. The transmitted metered value is held as a transmitted metered value. When a difference of the metered values of the transmitted value and the metering unit coincides with an additional gas amount held by an additional gas amount holder 32, a shut-off command is generated. The present day and time measured by the timer 5 is compare with the shut-off day and time held by the shut-off day and time holder. When the both coincide, a shut-off command is generated, and a gas shut-off valve 9 is closed by either shut-off command, and opening of the plug of the valve 9 is inhibited.

    • PURPOSE: To acquire the health of a gas passage in an early stage by learning a pattern of a user in using gas, making use of a time zone, during which gas is not used, to once shut off the gas passage and automatically inspect at regular intervals whether gas pressure decreases or not. CONSTITUTION: When a gas pressure in a gas passage decreases below a predetermined value and a pressure decreasing signal B is outputted from a pressure detecting unit 2, a pressure judging unit 3 is caused to output a pressure judgment going signal D, and to output a shut-off alarming signal C upon receipt of a flow rate signal A from a flow rate measuring unit 1. A shut-off informing unit 4 is permitted to inform an alarm on the basis of the shut-off alarming signal C, and the gas passage is shut off. Further, detection of gas leakage is effected by detecting a time zone, during which gas is not used and any flow rate signal is not existent, in a predetermined period of time, holding the result, permitting a flow rate nonexistence learning unit 5 to output a pressure inspection demanding signal E after learning to shut off the gas passage, and causing a pressure inspecting unit 6 to inspect whether gas pressure decreases or not.
