CONSTITUTION: A heat source device 2 is connected to a bath tub 50 and hot water is fed automatically in response to a set value obtained from a controller 33. A control device 1 for the heat source machine can be connected to an external memory device 40 through an external connecting terminal 22. The external memory device 40 stores information about structures of a plurality of bath tubs and the control device outputs information about the structure of a bath tub 50 to the control device l when a discriminating element inputs information. Accordingly, after the heat source machine 2 is fixed to the bath tub 50, a discriminator for the fixed bath tub 50 is inputted to the external memory device 40 connected to the heat source machine 2, thereby information about the structure of the bath tub 50 is inputted to the heat source machine 2. With such an arrangement as above, it is possible to perform an inputting operation for information about the structure of the bath tub positively and within a short period of time.

    • PURPOSE: To maintain an excellent communication state by adjusting the gain or impedance of a gas equipment or the side of a remote control device, monitoring the the receiving state of the reception signal in the gas equipment or the remote control device by a gain impedance checker. CONSTITUTION: By looking at the leading address of a packet by a gain impedance checker 4, which of plural remote control devices 2 communicates with a gas equipment main body 1 can be discriminated when the remote control devices exist and the communication state of each remote control device 2 and the gas equipment main body 1 can be inspected. By using the gain impedance checker 4, the communication waveform of the gas equipment main body 1 and the remote control device 2 is monitored and whether the reception waveform reaches a fixed level or not, for instance, is observed. When the fixed level is not reached, the impedance matching of the gas equipment 1 and the remote control device 2 can be improved, manually switching the resistance values of the impedance control part 12 of the gas equipment 1 and the impedance control part 24 of the remote control device 2.

    • PURPOSE: To enable detecting of a trouble quickly and accurately as caused by sticking of a solenoid valve in a hot water supplying apparatus by judging that the solenoid valve operates normally when there is a point of fluctuation in a hourly changing rate based on a first reference value and that the solenoid valve fails to work owing to the sticking when there is no point of fluctuation. CONSTITUTION: A current sensor 4 provided on a solenoid valve 12 measures a current value to be supplied to the solenoid valve 12 to transmit a current value signal to a CPU 20 and the CPU 20 receiving the current value signal stores the current value into a memory 20a in time series. A hourly changing rate is computed until the current value stored in time series shifts to a decrease from the rising of the current and a threshold is stored into an external memory 24 as first reference value to judge whether there is a point of fluctuation or not in the hourly changing rate. Then, the solenoid valve 12 is judged to operate normally when there is the point of fluctuation in the hourly changing rate based on the threshold or otherwise, not to do owing to sticking thereof. Thus, a trouble as caused by the sticking of the solenoid valve 12 is detected quickly.

    • PURPOSE:To detect the bent part of an underground pipe on a horizontal surface through a 90 deg. joint, a 45 deg. joint and the like, i.e., the bent-pipe part of the underground pipe, efficiently and positively. CONSTITUTION:A pig is moved in an underground pipe 4 and generates the AC magnetic field from a built-in transmitting coil. In a receiver 7, a receiving coil 8, which detects the magnetic field from the pig, is provided. This detecting device is constituted of these parts. The pig is constituted by linking a pair of moving bodies at the front and the rear so that the moving bodies are freely bent. The winding shafts of transmitting coils 5a and 5b are directed to the moving direction of the pig. The transmitting coils 5a and 5b are provided in respective moving bodies 2a and 2b. In the receiver 7, the pig-tracking receiving coil 8, wherein the winding shaft is arranged in correspondence with the axial direction of the underground pipe 4, and a pair of bent-pipe-part detecting receiving coils 9a and 9b are provided. The winding shafts of the coils 9a and 9b are arranged so as to intersect the winding shaft of the pig-tracking receiving coil 8. The coils 9a and 9b are symmetrically arranged at the right and left sides with an interval being provided in the axial direction. An output means 12 corresponding to the receiving level with a receiving coil is provided.
