    • PURPOSE:To prevent reduction in heat transmission efficiency of a heat exchanger due to the pressure loss in a heating pipe by a construction wherein the heating pipe has longitudinally spirally extending projections formed on the inner wall thereof and metal twisted plates are discontinuously inserted in the spaces formed between the projections. CONSTITUTION:A heating pipe 2 has a spiral projection 5 formed on the inner wall thereof, and metal twisted plates 7 are discontinuously inserted in the spaces 6 formed between the projectins 5. The twisted plates 7 allow a fluid L to be heated to cause swirl flow to increase its flow rate. The resultant centrifugal force serves to urge the fluid against the inner wall of the heating pipe 2. As a result, the heat transfer rate increases and the friction loss is reduced by the discontinuously located twisted plates so that reduction in the heat transmission efficiency of the heat exchanger due to the pressure loss in the heating pipe can be prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the heat transmission efficiency of a heat exchanger by a construction wherein a heating pipe has a twisted plate mounted therein and particles are mixed into the flow of a fluid to be heated or cooled and separated from the fluid after the heat exchange so as to be circulated for further use so that the temperature boundary layer can always be scraped off. CONSTITUTION:A substance 6 to be heated is mixed with particles 7 inside a mixing tank 4, and the resulatant mixture is supplied into a heating pipe 1. Inserted into the heating pipe 1 is a twisted plate 6 serving as an agitating spiral blade. Since the particles 7 are mixed into fluid 8 to be heated, swirl motion or flow is caused in the heating pipe 1. The centrifugal force produced by the swirl flow allows the particles to flow while they are thrusted against the inner wall of the heating pipe 1 to scrape the temperature boundary layer or reducing the thickness of the layer thereby increasing the heat transmission efficiency.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent an insulating block from the breakage dropping from inner wall of the tank, by forming liquid well made of styro-foam and vent hole in the insulating block body made of independent bubbles styro-foam. CONSTITUTION:A liquid well 11 and a vent hole 12 are formed in the insulating block body 10 made of independent bubble styro-foam, the liquid well 11 and the vent hole 12 are made up of independent bubble styro-foam. Thereby, when the storage is in long period, since the circumferential temperature lowers, the storaged liquid penetrates to the considerable depth, penetrated storaged liquid is stored in the liquid well 11, the storaged liquid in the vent hole 12 and the liquid well 11 passes through the vent hole 12 to the liquid side under condition of liquid and gas nevertheless rising temperature so that the breakage of insulating block body 10 and dropping from the inner wall of tank can be prevented.
