摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain an Al alloy painted plate for an outside plate of an automobile by forming a thin pure Al layer on the surface of an Al alloy base material, forming a chemical conversion treatment film or anodized film thereon and further forming a painting film thereon. CONSTITUTION:The thin pure Al layer 1 having about 2 micron thickness is formed by vacuum deposition of pure Al on the surface of the Al alloy base material 11 added with a metal so as to have mechanical properties. The chromate treatment film 2 is then formed on the layer of the thin pure Al layer 1 by executing a chromate treatment. The painting film 3 is further formed thereon to about 20mu thickness by executing electrodeposition painting. Then the influence of the eluded and deposited matter of the additive metal of the Al alloy base material 11 on the formation of the chromate film is prevented by the thin pure Al layer 1 formed on the surface of the Al alloy base material 11.

摘要： PURPOSE:To produce a surface treated steel sheet which does not corrode away or does not gather red rust even after use for a long period, by forming three- layered plating consisting of a surface layer of an Fe-Zn alloy, an intermediate layer of pure Zn and a lower layer of a corrosion resistant metal on a steel sheet. CONSTITUTION:Three-layered plating consisting of a surface layer 5, an intermediate layer 4 and a lower layer 3 is formed on the surface of a steel sheet 2. The surface layer 5 is an Fe-Zn alloy layer, the pref. Fe content is >=about 60% and the Vickers hardness Hv is about 200-300. The intermediate layer 4 is made of pure Zn, pure Al, pure Cu or the like, preferably pure Zn. The lower layer 3 is made of a corrosion resistant metal such as a Zn-base Zn-Fe alloy and the pref. Hv is about 90-100. When the resulting surface treated steel sheet is painted by cationic electrodeposition or other method, a formed paint film is made free from defects and a painted product which does not gather red rust formed by pitting is obtd.
