摘要： The invention provides an electrophotographic toner having a crystalline polyester resin; a non-crystalline polyester resin; a colorant; and a releasing agent. A resin (i), that is included in a toluene-soluble component of the toner and having a molecular weight of 30,000 to 100,000 as measured by gel permeation chromatography relative to polystyrene standards, has an acid value A. A resin (ii), that is included in a toluene-soluble component of the toner and having a molecular weight of 8,000 to 12,000 as measured by gel permeation chromatography relative to polystyrene standards, has an acid value B. A resin (iii), that is included in a toluene-insoluble component of the toner, has an acid value C. The acid values A, B, and C satisfy the inequation of B>A>C. The invention further provides an electrophotographic developer using the toner, a toner cartridge storing the toner, and an image forming method using the developer.

摘要： A toner for developing an electronic latent image, including toner particles containing a binder resin and a colorant, and an external additive, is provided. The external additive contains silica formed by a sol-gel method of which the surface is subjected to hydrophobic treatment and which has an average primary particle size of 80 to 300 nm, a water content of 3 to 15% and a volume resistivity of 1×1013 &OHgr;cm or more. The invention further provides an image forming method and an image forming apparatus using the same. The toner for developing an electrostatic latent image is good in transferability over a long period of time and gives a high image quality without causing an image defect.

摘要： A color toner and a black toner for electrostatic charge development comprises a binder resin and a colorant, wherein the binder resin comprises a polyester resin containing (a) an ethoxylated bisphenol type diol, (b) a propoxylated bisphenol type diol and (c) an aromatic dicarboxylic acid or an anhydride or ester thereof, as main monomer components, and the polyester resin further containing (d) at least one compound selected from the group consisting of alkylsuccinic acids, acid anhydrides and esters thereof, alkenylsuccinic acids, and acid anhydrides and esters thereof in an amount of 7 to 25 mol % based on the total monomer amount of the polyester resin, and the colorant is a flushing pigment comprising hydrous paste of an organic pigment and the polyester resin, or comprising a carbon black having a primary particle size of from not less than 30 nm to not more than 50 nm. Furthermore, a method for producing the color toner and the black toner, and an method for forming a full color image using the color toners or using the color toners and the black toner in combination, are disclosed.

C. and 140.degree. C. as measured by a flow tester method, and the quantity of heat of fixing is varied between a B/W mode and a color mode.
