摘要： The invention comprises modulating means for modulating digital data of fax format into analog signal and transmitting, a fax apparatus connected directly to the modulating means without resort to telephone circuit, DC feed means for feeding direct current to the fax apparatus, and call signal generating means for generating and sending out a call signal to the fax apparatus, in which a call signal is sent out from the call signal generating means, and the output of the modulating means is sent out to the fax apparatus without passing through telephone circuit, so that the fax apparatus connected directly to the modulating means can automatically receive data from the modulating means such as modem. As a result, image data such as bit map data can be easily transmitted directly to the fax apparatus and printed out, and the user can use the fax apparatus easily as a handy printer.

摘要： A trouser presser includes a trouser carrier for holding a pair of washed trousers in a desired attitude. The trouser carrier includes a waist pad for receiving the waist portion of the trousers to shape it and a bottom stretcher for receiving the bottoms of the trousers to stretch them. Heat plates are provided for pressing from both sides the pair of washed trousers to dry them. A first drive is provided for moving the trouser carrier up and down, and a second drive for horizontally reciprocating the trouser carrier between a trouser loading position and a trouser press position. The second drive includes a horizontal guide rod, an arm base slidably mounted on the guide rod, a pair of arms having one end thereof pivotally mounted on the arm base and the other end thereof pivotally mounted on the trouser carrier, a guide rail extending substantially in parallel with the guide rod and having one end portion thereof bent at a predetermined angle, a restriction plate fixedly mounted on one of the arms at its end portion near the arm base at a predetermined angle with respect to the arms, and a pair of rollers mounted on both ends of the restriction plate and rollingly received in the guide rail, for causing the trouser carrier to be swung by an angle corresponding to the bent angle of the guide rail when the rollers move along the elbow portion of the guide rail and to move substantially in a straight line when the rollers move along the straight portion of the guide rail.

摘要： A zoom lens barrel which is capable of zoom and close up photography includes a generally cylindrical barrel part, one end of which is mountable to a camera body. Optical system having an optical axis which coincides with the axis of the barrel part is arranged in the barrel part for relative sliding movement to perform zoom and close up photography. A generally cylindrical guide member is coaxially rotatably mounted on the barrel part and has a number of guide slots for engaging the optical system. The guide member also has a guide edge formed on one end, and is axially movable between a first position whereat the guide slots axially guide the optical system relative to the barrel part so that the optical system zooms on an object to be photographed when the guide member is rotated, and a second position whereat the guide member axially displaces the optical system for close up photography of the object. An operation member is mounted on the barrel part next to the guide edge of the guide member for engaging the guide edge of the guide member to move it in the direction of the optical axis between the first and second positions.
