    • PURPOSE: To prevent the contamination of a finished ice cream with trace of the formerly extracted syrup, by combining a refrigeration chamber, a syrup supplying line, an extractor, a valve, a solenoid valve, a means for detecting the prescribed amount, and a control means in a manner to exert a specific action.
      CONSTITUTION: When the supporting tool 74 is lowered to the second position, and the prescribed weight of the shake extracted to the cup is detected by the weight sensor 105, the extraction control circuit 122 opens the switch 115 and then closes the syrup-supplying solenoid valve 20A1 by the signal transmitted from the hall element 108. When the switch 116 is in opened state in the above step, it is opened at the same time to close the syrup-supplying solenoid valve 20A2. After a little while, the energization of the solenoid 94 is terminated, and the lever 92 is returned to the normal position by the restoration spring 178. The valve 86 is pressed with the coil spring 88 to the step 89 to close the side hole 83. The electrically delayed stopping operation is effective to prevent the contamination with the formerly extracted syrup when a different kind of syrup is supplied to the mixing chamber 95 in the next extraction step.

      CONSTITUTION: The output of the AND circuit 168 is dependent upon the state of the output voltage defined by the detection operation of the front thermistor 54, and the output of the AND circuit 169 varies with the output voltage defined by the detection operation of the rear thermistor 55. As a result, the front cooling system control circuit 128 independently controls the cooling operation of the front cooling system according to the detection operation of the front thermistor 54. The ice cream base in the front part of the refrigeration chamber 3 is maintained to the ideal hardness by this operation. The rear cooling system control circuit 129 independently controls the cooling operation of the rear cooling system according to the detection operation of the rear thermistor 55 to maintain the ice cream base in the rear part of the refrigeration chamber to the ideal hardness.

CONSTITUTION:The ice cream freezer is furnished with the cold controlling means 121 to control the operation of the cooling means of a refrigeration system in a manner to cool the liquid ice cream mix in the cooling chamber in semi-frozen state, the heating means 122 to heat and sterilize the liquid ice cream mix in the cooling chamber, and the cold-keeping controlling means 123 to control the operation of the cooling means in a manner to cool the liquid ice cream mix in the cooling chamber to a low-temperature liquid state. When the cooling switch means 113 is operated, the hot-water supplying means starts the supply of hot water, stops, the supply after a definite period and starts the cooling of the mix by the cold controlling means. When the cold-keeping switch means 115 is operated, the cooling operation is stopped, the sterilization by the heating means is started, and the cold-keeping operation by the cold- keeping means is started after stopping the sterlization operation.
