    • PURPOSE:To make the manufacture and setting of beams easier by a method in which two prestressed PC steel wires are laid tensely in an X-form and in a downwardly curved form from both ends of upper chord member to the central part of lower chord member between the adjacent beams, and both ends of them are fixed to columns. CONSTITUTION:Truss beams 2 consisting of upper chord members 10, lower chord members 11, and lattice parts 12 are horizontally connected with beams 13 and braces 14 to form a box-type unit U. The unit U is set between columns 1, both ends of the lower chord members 11 are rigid-connected to the columns 1, and the units U are connected with the beams 13. Two PC steel wires 29 are crossly set in a downwardly curved form through the central beam 15a of the lower chord member 11. The wires 20 are tensed for introducing prestress, both ends of them are fixed to the upper ends of the columns 1, and the upper chord members 12 are rigid-connected with the columns 1. The truss structure can thus be simply produced with cheap parts because PC steel wires and others can be easily set on upper places and also on optimum positions.

    • PURPOSE:To enable execution of a work, e.g. assembly and overhead construction of a horizontal member, revolution, installation of a wire for providing reaction force, and draw off of the horizontal member, only in one spot, to save a site, and to rationalize a work by a method wherein spanning of the horizontal member is effected in a specified stay spot. CONSTITUTION:The given number of stays 1 are aligned along boundary lines (a) and (a) one both sides of a side A and to the outside thereof at a distance (b) therefrom and at intervals of a given distance (c), and the adjoining stays 1 of each of stay trains I and I' are intercoupled through a beam 2 in the direction of a girder. Elevatable temporary pedestals 6 are respectively temporarily erected to the stay 1 of the stay train I on the one side and to the inner side part of the column head of a stay 1'' on the other side positioned facing a stay 1' located approximately in the middle of the stays 1. A horizontal member 3 from the one end of which a half- manual extender 4 is extended is spanned on the temporary pedestals 6 by means of a crane vehicle. Further, the lateral spanning material 3 from which the half-manual extender 4 is extended is revolved in a 90 deg. arc, a wire 13 for providing reaction force is connected to an earth anchor 14, and a wire 15 of a winch 10 for drawing off the lateral spanning material 3 is bounded to the tip of the half-manual extender 4.

    • PURPOSE:To effectively use a space in a room even with a structure in which several tension chord members are laid in parallel with one another so as to cover a large space. CONSTITUTION:Tension chord members 22 are laid, being curved in their center parts, between a pair of stationary structures 21 which are opposed and spaced by a predetermined distance to each other, and are secured at their center positions with a support member 23. First wires 24 are stretched between the support member 23 and the opposite ends of the tension chord members 22. A plurality of thus constructed tension chord beams are arranged so that the tension chord members are laid in substantially parallel with one another, and further, tension chord members are coupled with one another by means of a truss beam 26 which extends in a direction crossing the tension chord members while second wires 25 are hung down from the opposite ends of the truss beam. The lower ends of the second wires 25 are fixed to retainers positioned therebelow, and then the first and second wires are subjected to tension.
