摘要： The present disclosure relates to addition of new radio for a user equipment (UE). For example, a method of wireless communication includes establishing, by a UE, a first connection with a first cell. The method also include, while the first connection between the UE and the first cell is present, detecting a trigger condition. The method further includes, based on the trigger condition and while the UE has not added a second cell group: initiating, by the UE, a local release of the first connection, and transmitting, by the UE, a tracking area update request to the first cell. 摘要： Certain aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may determine, when engaged in a multimedia communication, that the user equipment is receiving an uplink grant without sending a scheduling request. A semi-persistent scheduling mode may not be activated when the user equipment is receiving the uplink grant. In some aspects, the user equipment may forgo transmission of at least one scheduling request based at least in part on determining that the user equipment is receiving the uplink grant. In some aspects, an access point may determine to perform scheduling to provide an uplink grant to a user equipment engaging in a multimedia communication. In some aspects, the access point may configure semi-persistent scheduling and scheduling request masking for a logical channel to cause the user equipment to forgo transmission of a scheduling request. Numerous other aspects are provided.

摘要： Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A wireless device may identify a collision of a first DRX wakeup occasion of a first radio access technology (RAT) and a second DRX wakeup occasion of a second RAT within a discontinuous reception (DRX) interval. The wireless device may identify an offset change for a DRX wakeup occasion of at least one RAT based on the collision. In some cases, the wireless device may transmit a paging offset change request message to a network node, such as a base station or core network node, based on the identified offset change. The wireless device may receive, from the network node, a paging offset acceptance message in response to the paging offset change request message indicating a timing offset for changing the first DRX wakeup occasion or the second DRX wakeup occasion. In some cases, the wireless device may receive an indication from the network node to change a wakeup occasion.

摘要： Methods and devices address managing uplink resource grants on a wireless communication device configured with a radio frequency (RF) resource supporting at least a first and second radio access technology (RAT). When a first protocol stack is in a radio resource control (RRC)-connected state in a network associated with the first RAT, a tune-away event on the first protocol stack may be detected in which the RF resource tunes from the network associated with the first RAT to a network associated with the second RAT, and the RF resource tunes back to the network associated with the first RAT after a tune-away duration. A first scheduling request procedure may be triggered on the first protocol stack, and a protection window mechanism may be implemented during a time window following the tune-away duration.

摘要： Systems, methods, apparatuses, and media are provided for recovery of information from redundancy version packets in systematic encoding environments when a redundancy version packet containing primarily systematic information may be corrupted. A plurality of redundancy version packets may be received at a user equipment device from a transmission device. Each redundancy version packet of the plurality of redundancy version packets may be based on a same group of information bits. A first redundancy version packet of the plurality of redundancy version packets may contain more bits of the same group of information bits than do the other redundancy version packets of the plurality of redundancy version packets. The same group of information bits may be recovered based on one or more second redundancy version packets of the plurality of redundancy version packets but not based on the first redundancy version packet.

摘要： A mobile communication device with multiple subscriptions includes a single baseband-radio frequency (BB-RF) resource chain. A first identity module, such as a subscriber identity module (SIM), a second identity module (e.g., a second SIM), and a controller are communicatively coupled to the single BB-RF resource chain. The first identity module is associated with a first subscription, and the second identity module is associated with a second subscription. The controller may be configured to arbitrate access to the single BB-RF resource chain to perform a first activity that corresponds to the first subscription or a second activity that corresponds to the second subscription. For example, the controller may interrupt a data session processed by the single BB-RF resource chain in response to receiving information indicating that a voice call is to be processed by the single BB-RF resource chain.

As described herein, various techniques are provided herein whereby a wireless communication network with which a user device communicates can suspend a data session and/or other communication session associated with the user device upon identifying that the user device has moved to a disparate communication network based on the transmitter/receiver capabilities of the user device. In one example herein, a mobility management entity and/or other network management entity can determine whether to perform suspend control based on an event notification from another network based on user capability. 摘要： Systems and methodologies are described that facilitate multimode communication in wireless networks. Receiving and/or transmitting components can comprise a plurality of receive paths over which antennas can forward concurrently received signals to facilitate simultaneous or shared receiving of signals related to disparate communication technologies. The receive paths can be implemented by one or more multiplexers (e.g., diplexers, triplexers, etc.) to facilitate separating signals simultaneously received over disparate bands. In addition, antenna switching is described to facilitate shared receiving. Multimode transmitting is similarly provided. In particular, voice, data and global positioning system (GPS) signals can be concurrently received and processed by a wireless device.
