    • A luminaire is provided, that includes a housing and a plurality of solid state light sources connected thereto. The housing has a top side, two lateral sides, a protrusion in the top side, and two light source mounting surfaces. The top side is diffusely reflecting and has opposing lateral edges and a center. The lateral sides are specularly reflecting and extend generally downward from the opposing lateral edges of the top side. Each has a respective bottom edge. The light source mounting surfaces extend laterally inward from the respective bottom edges. The plurality of solid state light sources is disposed along the pair of light source mounting surfaces proximate the pair of specularly reflecting lateral sides. These emit light, which travels upward to the top side and is also specularly reflected by the lateral sides toward the top side. The top side diffusely reflects the light out of the luminaire.

    • Access is obtained to call data records (or other data) for a plurality of mobile telephony users. The call data records (or other data) include location-time sequences. For each of the mobile telephony users, corresponding ones of the location-time sequences are segmented into trips; a home-work-school classification model is used to determine a home location and a work-school location, based on the trips; and a trip purpose classification model is used to assign each of the trips a purpose label, based at least on comparing at least one of a start location and an end location for each one of the trips to at least one of the home location and the work-school location determined using the home-work-school classification model. The trips are aggregated into purpose based origin-destination categories based at least on the purpose labels, time ranges of the location-time sequences, and the start and end locations.

    • A computing system and method updates firmware to a baseboard management controller (BMC) of a motherboard. The computing system updates firmware of the BMC according to the parameters, wherein the parameters includes a predetermined number of times to update the firmware of the BMC. The computing system counts a number of successful updates, in response to a determination that a current update of the firmware is successful. The computing system records information of each of the successful updates and generates a log file for storing the information, in response to a determination that counted number of the successful updates equal to the predetermined number of times.
