    • PURPOSE:To reduce a cost and to shorten a construction period by providing bearing piles, struts and walings while making excavation to excavate, and bearing the struts and walings on columns construct subsequently a structure from the lower story to the upper story after the excavation. The structure is constructed subsequently from the lower story to the upper story in the same procedure.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting structure of a column-to-beam junction which, at a junction between a column member made of steel and a steel beam made of H-steel, can effectively transmit stresses from the web of the beam to the column and which can prevent the rupturing of flanges and the buckling of the junction. SOLUTION: The end face of the flange 2a of a beam 2 is butted and welded to the end face of a horizontal stiffener such as a diaphragm 4 that projects horizontally from the surface of a column member 1, and the web part 2b of the beam 2 is extended up to the surface of the column and is welded to the horizontal stiffener at both of its upper and lower edges, with the projected length or the stiffener being 20% or more of the beam length. Stresses working on the beam 2 can be transmitted to the horizontal stiffener not only from the flange 2a but also through the web 2b, and concentration of stresses to the junction between the flange 2a and the horizontal stiffener is avoided, preventing rupturing of them.
