    • PURPOSE:To prevent a net from being clogged at a time of backwash by directly joining both an annular material in which slits for introducing and discharging raw water and backwash water are bored on the circumference of a disk and a driving motor in the upper part of a packed tower. CONSTITUTION:An annular material 1 in which slits 2 are bored on the circumferential part of a disk part 6 is connected to a raw water pipe 5 in the upper part of a packed tower 21 provided with a packed bed 23 having a packed filter medium 22. Both the rotation axis 3 of the annular material 1 and a driving motor 4 provided to the upper part of the packed tower 21 are connected and thereby the disk part 6 of the annular material 1 can be rotated. Raw water introduced through the raw water pipe 5 is injected through the slits 2 provided to the circumferential part of the disk part 6 of the annular material 1 and spread on the packed bed 23 having the packed filter medium 22. Thereby outflow of the packed filter medium is prevented.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the equipment capable of appropriately performing cooling or reheating of a melt of raw material ash or the like to a temp. within a range suitable for the formation and growth of crystal nuclei. SOLUTION: In this equipment, a melt solidification treatment device 31 is composed of: a solidification treatment chamber 32 that is subjected to heat insulation lining and has a slit on each of the side walls in the longitudinal direction and also a rectangular crosssectional shape; a chain conveyor 34 that is provided with two roller chains traveling on rails placed along the both outsides of the side walls of the solidification treatment chamber 32 respectively, and slag containers 33 each provided with a flange which extends through the both slits and from the side walls of the chamber 32 to their outsides and the both front ends of which are fitted to the roller chains of the chain conveyor 34 respectively, so that the slag containers 33 are able to travel within the solidification treatment chamber 32. Further, the device 31 is also provided with a melt charging port that is placed in the upper part of the front end section of the solidification treatment chamber 32 and is used for connecting the chamber 32 to a melting furnace 30, plural gas blowing ports 48 and plural gas blowers 52, both of which are placed in the longitudinal direction of the solidification treatment chamber 32 and used for forming plural zones having different atmospheric temp. from each other, sensors 53 for measuring slag surface temp. in the slag containers 33 respectively, and a controller 44 for controlling the surface temp. of the moving slag.

    • PURPOSE:To raise the temperature of the tap hole rapidly when it drops temporarily by installing a sludge burner and an auxiliary burner at positions that are lower than the center of the height of the furnace and at the same time mounting one or two of those two burners on a rotating body which rotates round a shaft which penetrates the furnace. CONSTITUTION:A sludge burner 4 and an auxiliary burner 5 are both provided lower than the center of the height of the main body 1, and object to be burned which are led to the sludge burner 4 are jetted out towardS the circumferential wall of the inside of the main body 1 with the fuel from the auxiliary burner 5 and they burn in rotation. Here, if there is a variation in the quantity of supply or ingredients of the objects to be burned, the temperature of a tap hole 3 falls temporarily. When this temperature fall is detected by a thermocouple or a radiation pyrometer, an electric motor 54 is driven and a rotating body 52 rotates round a penetrating shaft of the furnace wall anticlockwise in the angular range theta, and the position of the burner 50 of the auxiliary burner 5 moves. On the extension of the line through the burner 50 a tap hole 3 sits, so that the fuel is jetted out from the auxiliary burner 5 towards the area near the tap hole 3. Then the tap hole 3 is heated by the combustion of the fuel from the burner 50 and the tap hole temperature rapidly returns to its initial temperature. When the temperature of the tap hole 3 is recovered, the auxiliary burner 5 returns to its normal position.
