摘要： An image reading apparatus includes a document reading and conveying unit, a pressing plate capable of moving to a position to press a document against a reading surface and to a position withdrawn from the reading surface, and a fixed reader configured to read a document fixed on the reading surface by moving a close-coupled image sensor relative to the document. The document reading and conveying unit includes a controller configured to perform pickup initialization of returning a pickup roller to an initial position after the completion of conveying one or more documents and is supported by the pressure plate. The controller includes a first timer configured to measure an elapsed time from the completion of reading performed by the fixed reader. The controller performs the pickup initialization after a measurement value measured by the first timer exceeds a first time.

Furthermore, the film adhesive further comprises a base material (A) and an adhesive layer (B). The film adhesive can exhibit excellent low-temperature adhesive property and covering capability functioning as a die bonding adhesive film which can be used in a semiconductor package. In addition, the film adhesive can exhibit excellent low-temperature adhesive property and covering capability which functions both as a die bonding adhesive film and as a dicing tape.

摘要： An elasto-plastic damper is adapted to be used in a structure, such as a building and other facilities, for absorbing vibration energy created by earthquake tremors and other ground vibrations. The damper is a centrally bulged and generally cone-shaped hollow body of revolution so that its section modulus changes substantially porportional to a bending moment created in the damper body due to horizontal stresses, thus permitting a maximum degree of deformability. This elasto-plastic damper is compact in size and demonstrates a high degree of vibrational energy absorbability.

摘要： The present invention relates to method and apparatus for heating a strip of metallic material in a continuous annealing furnace and more particularly to an improvement relating to a method and apparatus for heating a strip of metallic material in a continuous annealing furnace in which annealing of the strip is continuously carried out in such a manner that a gas, serving to adjust temperature of the strip, is blown toward the strip through a plurality of gas jet nozzles which are arranged on one side or both sides of the strip, wherein the temperature and flow rate of the strip are properly determined to a required level in response to the changing of the operating conditions such as the heat cycle, line speed, thickness of strip, width of strip and the like. Further, the present invention relates to a method and apparatus for heating a strip of metallic material in a continuous annealing furnace, wherein the temperature of the strip is controlled to reach a target temperature by heating or cooling the strip by means of a gas jet or the like having excellent respondency at a part of the heating zone in the continuous annealing furnace whereby irregular annealing of the strip is effectively inhibited.

摘要： A method and an apparatus for continuously annealing cold rolled steel strips successively passing through a preheating zone, a low temperature heating zone, a high temperature heating soaking zone, a primary cooling zone and a secondary cooling zone. In each zone, the steel strip is driven by hearth rolls alternately upward and downward in a serpentine path. According to the invention, in a high temperature zone such as the high temperature heating zone and the primary cooling zone where the steel strip is prone to heat buckling, the steel strip is caused to pass only once in a single direction without passing along the serpentine path, thereby preventing meandering and heat buckling of the steel strip.
