    • The electromagnetic relay is provide with a spring fixing part which fixes a signal contact spring, an earth contact spring and a spring connection portion to a board, and an armature made of a magnetic member and arranged to be rockable with a position matching with the spring fixing part. The armature is provided with a first end portion which presses the signal contact spring against signal fixed contacts and a second end portion which presses the earth contact spring against an earth fixed contact. The armature and each of the movable portions are arranged such that torques acting on the armature cancel one another by a repulsion of each of the contact springs when the signal contact spring and the earth contact spring are pressed against the board.

Also, each of the nodes is constructed by a first distributor for extracting data from a second time slot of a data frame on the L-ring, a second distributor for extracting data from a second time slot of a data frame on the R-ring, a third delay unit for delaying the data extracted by the first distributor by a third delay time period, a fourth delay unit for delaying the data extracted the second distributor by a third delay time period, and a switching unit for passing one of outputs of the third and fourth delay units.

    • A fluorescent printer head capable of being subject to dynamic driving to reduce the number of ICs required. A shield electrode is provided between anode arrays having anode dots arranged in an offset manner and control electrodes are respectively arranged for the anode arrays. The anode arrays are subject to dynamic driving and selected by the control electrodes. Such construction of the fluorescent printer head ensures smooth selection of the anode arrays during the dynamic driving. Also, it eliminates non-uniformity in luminance of the anode dots of the anode arrays and accomplishes downsizing of the printer head and a reduction in manufacturing cost thereof due to a reduction in the number of ICs required.

    • A position in which an image of a second document is inserted into an image of a first document is designated by operating an operation panel. A scanner unit reads the image of the first document and a printing unit prints the read image of the first document on paper. That area of the first document image to be printed by the printing unit in which the image of the second document is inserted is masked. Paper on which the first docment image has been printed and an ink ribbon are set back to a position at which the printing operation for the first document image is started before the second document image is printed. The scanner unit reads the second document image and the printing unit prints the second document image read on a designated area of the paper on which the first document image has been printed by using ink of that portion of the ink ribbon which has not been used for printing the first document image.
