摘要： An antenna device is provided in which deterioration of characteristics is prevented and which has improved strength. A chip antenna is inserted into a resin case serving as a support member, and one terminal of the resin case is bonded to a power feeding terminal and another terminal of the case is bonded to a fixation terminal of the chip antenna 2 by solder. The chip antenna is fixed to the resin case so that a gap is provided between the printed circuit board on which the chip antenna is mounted and the chip antenna. Then, by bonding the terminals of the resin case to the printed circuit board by solder, the chip antenna is mounted on the printed circuit board.

摘要： In a fixing apparatus and an image forming apparatus of the present invention, an external heating section is provided that includes: an external heating belt; two heat rollers suspending the external heating belt and pressed against a fixing roller via the external heating belt; and a release/contact mechanism for causing the two heat rollers to separate from or contact with the fixing roller. With the heat rollers separated from the fixing roller by the release/contact mechanism, the external heating belt and the fixing roller are in contact with each other and the external heating belt follows rotation of the fixing roller. As a result, a fixing apparatus is provided that includes an external release/contact mechanism that can quickly operate in a small space and at low power without encouraging deterioration of the belt member. An image forming apparatus provided with such a fixing apparatus is also provided.

摘要： A chip antenna capable of reducing the spiral pitch of an antenna line to be smaller than that of a conventional one. Conductor patterns are electrically connected sequentially in series through via holes so as to form a spiral antenna line. The antenna line has a winding axis which is arranged either in a zigzag manner or along a straight line. Adjacent wound portions have an equal diameter or width or the adjacent portions may have unequal widths. Since adjacent via holes are arranged in a staggered arrangement with each other, the distance between the adjacent via holes is larger than the spiral pitch of the antenna line, allowing the adjacent portions to be closer together than a conventional chip antenna, thereby allowing the resonance frequency to be reduced.

摘要： Disclosed is an electrophotographic apparatus capable of producing a high-quality image free from image defects such as fine line dropouts. A photoconductor drum is used that has a magnet mounted therein in immovable fashion. After an electrostatic latent image is formed, the image is brought into contact with magnetic developer in a developer reservoir, causing the developer to be attracted to the photoconductor surface by magnetic force. When the photoconductor drum is rotated past an electrode roller to which an AC voltage is applied, toner is left only in image areas and the latent image is developed into a visible image. A sheet-like sealing member contacting the photoconductor is disposed on the upstream side of the developer reservoir in the rotating direction of the photoconductor drum. A conductive layer is provided on the surface of the sealing member opposite the surface thereof contacting the photoconductor.

The magnetic field applying section is configured to apply a magnetic field to the magnetic body so as to reduce a magnetic loss due to the magnetic body.
