摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a good critical temperature and critical current by specifying a ratio between the outer diameter of a core material, with a filling layer of ceramic superconductive powders provided around it, and the inner diameter of an outer coating material to be in a certain range. CONSTITUTION:A ceramic superconductive wire material is obtained by filling ceramic superconductive powders between an outer coating material 1 and a core material 2 and applying a cold drawing to it. For this wire material, the ratio between the outer diameter Dc of the core material 2 and the inner diameter Dl of the outer coating material 1 is regulated to be within the range of 1/4-3/4. A ceramic superconductive wire material with a good critical temperature and critical current can thus be obtained. If Dc/Dl is less than 1/4, filling rate of mixed powders filled between the outer coating material 1 and the core material 2 cannot be increased by drawing sufficiently, and if Dc/Dl is over 3/4, because a space formed between the outer coating material 1 and the core material is very small, filling of mixed powders is difficult.

摘要： PURPOSE:To improve production efficiency by inserting a flux pellet into a connecting part of a steel pipe and executing a butt resistance welding, and subsequently, dropping and packing a flux, and forming a long-sized flux packed steel pipe. CONSTITUTION:A steel pipe 1 which has been cut to a regular size is fixed roughly upright by supporting metallic fittings 9, and a flux 2 dropped down from the upper end hole and packed. After the packing, the steel pipe 1 is wound by a winder 5, the next steel pipe 1a is set to a welding position, and a flux pellet 8 is inserted into a steel pipe connecting part. Subsequently, the steel pipes 1, 1a are brought to a butt resistance welding, and thereafter, the flux 2 is dropped down and packed again. By repeating the resistance welding and packing of the flux 2, a long-sized flux packed steel pipe is made, and thereafter, a cold wire drawing is executed to a necessary wire diameter. In this way, the production efficiency of a flux cored wire having an excellent quality can be raised.

摘要： PURPOSE:To perform a good joining without incomplete fusion by performing a butt welding of both end parts after expanding the tip part of two pieces of flux cored welding wire and forming the recessed part of the specific shape. CONSTITUTION:The recessed part to satisfy the conditions of the equation showing the relation between the tip opening angle alpha and wire diameter (d) is formed with using the expanding jig of punch, etc. on both tip parts of two pieces of flux cored welding wires. With this recessed part work, the flux 1 of the inside of the wire is removed and the shape for easy joining and difficult to cause a burr on the inner face is made. Joining is thereafter performed by the ordinary butt weld method. Because of the flux removing rate being increased and cavities and burrs being caused after welding in case of the tip angle of the using punch being less than 1.5 times of the wire diameter a disconnection is performed at wire drawing time. When the tip angle exceeds 15 times of the wire diameter incomplete fusion is caused.

By this method, even if any part extending over the overall length from the tip up to the rear end of the wire is used, the low nitrogen weld metal is obtained and the title FCW whose cost is not almost increased can be formed.
