摘要： Presented is a system for providing a rich media visitor log comprising a communications server accessible by members of a group, a local services network interactively connected to the communications server, a group management application resident on the communications server, and a visitor log host application. The group management application is configured to activate a group session, manage communications among group members and the local services network during the group session, and expire activation of the group session after a predetermined time interval. The visitor log host application is configured to collect communications from the communications managed by the group management application, identify exemplary communications for inclusion in the rich media visitor log, select rich media display assets corresponding to the identified exemplary communications, and produce the rich media visitor log comprising the identified exemplary communications and the selected corresponding rich media display assets.

The device further comprises a processor configured to detect the occurrence of the event; retrieve the alert data from the memory in response to the occurrence of the event; begin playback of the media stream from the start point; and stop playback of the media stream at the end point.

摘要： An enhanced interactive television broadcast is disclosed wherein an audio/video broadcast is viewed on a first display system, and an “enhancement” to the broadcast is simultaneously viewed or experienced on a second, separate display system. The “enhancement” is synchronized to the broadcast, and delivered to a user as a code fragments, such as a JavaScript message. URLs are not required. Portions or elements of a web page are reduced to single code fragments, rendered client-side upon receipt. The invention implements Network Time Protocol (NTP) to synchronize the client's application clock to global time. Messages, or JavaScript code fragments, are time-stamped and evaluated based on the client's application clock.

A first door latch connects the first door with respect to a frame defining a vehicle body opening. A handle member has at least an inboard portion and is mounted to the first door for movement about an axis. A force transmission assembly is operably engaged between the handle member and the first door latch for movement between a latch-engaged position and a latch-released position. A door release lock-out is defined by a portion of the second door directly obstructing movement of the handle member, when the second door is in the at least partially latched position. The door release lock-out prevents movement of the handle member a sufficient distance to release the first door latch from the frame when the second door is in the at least partially latched position.

摘要： The system and method of the present invention provides viewers access to a library of movies, or any other audio/video content available for viewing at anytime. Specifically, the method involves transmitting movies wirelessly to a set-top box in one's home and allowing movies to accumulate. A hard disk drive in the set-top box is used to store movies. In an exemplary embodiment, movies are wirelessly transmitted to the set-top box using a datacasting technology which allows data to be encoded onto standard television signals and transmitted using existing television transmitters and broadcast towers. Movies are transferred to the set-top box using a broadcast file transfer protocol and stored on the hard drive. Movies are “packetized” and these packets are continuously transmitted to the set-top box where they are incrementally reassembled. The user is not aware of what data is being sent to their set-top box. The movies are pushed down by the provider to reside passively in the box for a finite time period. Transmission of the data is controlled by the content or service provider. To ensure that movies are received in their entirety, the same movie may be broadcast to the set-top box several times. Any packets of data that were not received in the first attempt of transmission will be received with subsequent broadcasts. The set-top box is also connected to a phone line for billing purposes.
