    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot-dip galvanized steel pipe having a zinc plating layer including Pb of 0.10 mass% or less and Cd of 0.01 mass% or less and having excellent peeling resistance.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a hot-dip galvanized steel pipe comprises: performing flux treatment to a steel pipe to be plated at least including Si of 0.05-1.00 mass% and/or Cu of 0.03-0.50 mass% using a flux treatment liquid having a specific gravity of 1.10 or more and 1.30 or less at 70°C and a temperature of 55°C or more and 95°C or less; drying the steel pipe to be plated after the flux treatment at the maximum temperature of 105°C or more and 180°C or less; and immersing the steel pipe to be plated after the drying in a plating bath including Zn of 97.5 mass% or more, Fe of 1.5 mass% or less, Pb of 0.10 mass% or less and Cd of 0.01 mass% or less as a component composition to perform hot-dip galvanizing treatment.
