    • A method for assigning a position of a tire, having a tire sensor, on a vehicle, includes transmitting, with the sensor, a signal including at least an identification number of the sensor following activation by a signal from an LF antenna connected to an evaluation unit. At a system start time, the evaluation unit first initiates an initialization including determination of the position of each tire having a sensor. The evaluation unit stores the identification number of each sensor together with the determined position of the tire having the sensor, before switching into a normal operating mode in which tire data, for example air pressure, is monitored by the sensors, with the position and preferably assignment of the sensor to a specific LF antenna, being stored in the sensor and kept available for retrieval. A device and a system for measuring air pressure in a vehicle tire are also provided.

    • A high-frequency oscillator is provided for a frequency range of 1.6 to 3 GHz. An oscillator stage includes an oscillator transistor and a voltage-controlled resonator unit. A buffer stage is connected at an output of the oscillator stage. The resonator unit includes an open resonator in the form of an etched structure with a wavelength which is shorter than lambda/4 (where lambda is an oscillator length). The resonator unit includes a voltage-controlled variable-capacitance diode, and a resonator terminal is connected between the voltage-controlled variable-capacitance diode of the resonator unit and the oscillator transistor of the oscillator stage. The resonator is preferably an open microstrip resonator, and the stages are disposed in a standardized housing in SMD (surface mounted device) technology.

    • The invention relates to a method for reduction of the power consumption of a mobile data memory with a non-contact data transmission by means of a read/write device. According to the invention, the mobile data memory, containing at least one energy store and user, is supplied, at least during a cyclic inactive idle mode, with a first clock frequency from a first oscillator and, for data receipt at least during a cyclic request time, with a second higher clock frequency from a second oscillator. The second clock frequency is determined above all for data modulation of a received signal, obtained from the reception antenna or from a combined transmission/reception antenna on the mobile data memory. The invention further relates to a mobile data memory and an identification system with at least one read/write device and one mobile data memory. The advantage of requiring no battery exchange during the life of the mobile data memory is thus conferred.
