    • Dry electrographic toner compositions are provided comprising a plurality of dry toner particles, wherein the toner particles comprise polymeric binder comprising at least one amphipathic copolymer comprising one or more S material portions and one or more D material portions. The dry electrographic toner composition comprises a wax associated with the dry toner particles, wherein a substantial portion of the wax is entrained in the toner particle and a substantial portion of the wax is associated with the toner particle at the surface thereof. Methods of making electrographic toner compositions are also provided comprising preparing polymeric binder particles comprising at least one amphipathic copolymer comprising one or more S material portions and one or more D material portions, and milling the particles before or after formulation as toner particles with wax in the liquid carrier prior to drying to form the dry toner composition. These toner compositions provide images having excellent durability and erasure resistance properties at low fusion temperatures and with little undesired offset.

For at least one of the sequence of basic units to be presented to the student and the input from the student, segmentation is performed to break up a continuous stream of units into a sequence of discrete units. For at least one particular basic unit with the plurality of alternate representations, at least one of the alternate representations is automatically selected to present to the student based at least in part on the input obtained from the student during the presentation of basic units that are earlier in the sequence of basic units than the particular basic unit.

    • Various embodiments provide an electrosurgical instrument with a disposable electrosurgical cartridge. In one embodiment, the cartridge has first and second energy-delivery surfaces that carry first and second opposing polarity conductors coupled to a voltage source, together with first and second temperature-responsive variable impedance bodies exposed partly in the respective-delivery surfaces. The cartridge further carries a slidable blade member. The temperature-responsive variable impedance bodies are coupled to the voltage source by series and parallel circuitry. In use, the variable impedance bodies are adapted to modulate current flow and ohmic heating in engaged tissue by providing controlled current paths in the tissue and through the variable impedance bodies as the temperature-responsive bodies sense the temperature of adjacent engaged tissue. The engagement surfaces are capable of highly localized modulation of Rf energy application to engaged tissue to provide high and low temperatures, voltage and current in the tissue to create high strength welds.
