    • This application provides a communication method and a terminal device, and relates to the communication field. The method includes: A subband non-overlapping full-duplex device obtains first information, where the first information indicates a first time-frequency resource occupied by a first data channel in a first frequency band and a second time-frequency resource occupied by a first feedback channel in a second frequency band; determines a mapping relationship between a third time-frequency resource and a fourth time-frequency resource based on the first information and an identifier of the device, where the third time-frequency resource is a part or all of the first time-frequency resource, and the fourth time-frequency resource is a part or all of the second time-frequency resource; sends the first data channel on the third time-frequency resource; and receives the first feedback channel on the fourth time-frequency resource. In this manner, the subband non-overlapping full-duplex device can determine a mapping relationship between the data channel and the feedback channel based on the first information, to prevent the device from simultaneously receiving/sending a feedback channel in a same frequency band. This can ensure communication reliability.

The method includes: A first device receives a control channel and a first data channel, where the first device receives the control channel and the first data channel based on a same spatial domain receive parameter, or the first device receives both the control channel and the first data channel through an omnidirectional beam, and indication information of a spatial domain receive parameter of a second data channel is carried on the control channel and/or the first data channel. The first device receives the second data channel based on the indication information. Therefore, when the second data channel is being received, the determined spatial domain receive parameter may be used, thereby improving receiving performance of the data channel.

The method may include: A transmit-side device determines frequency-domain positions of reference signals that are used for phase noise estimation and that are on a plurality of resource blocks, where there are a plurality of reference signals on at least one resource block in the plurality of resource blocks, the reference signals occupy consecutive frequency-domain resources on the at least one resource block, for example, occupy a plurality of consecutive subcarriers; the transmit-side device maps, based on the frequency-domain positions of the reference signals on the plurality of resource blocks, the reference signals to one or more symbols, and sends, to a receive-side device, the one or more symbols to which the reference signals are mapped; and the receive-side device performs phase noise estimation based on the reference signals. According to this application, the reference signals can be distributed in a relatively centralized manner in frequency domain, so that accuracy of inter-carrier interference estimation and phase noise error compensation performance are improved, thereby improving demodulation performance of a receiver.
