    • An information processing apparatus including: a first recording medium which stores a first program; a connection section which is capable of connecting to a second recording medium outside of the information processing apparatus; an instruction input section to input, while the information processing apparatus is in an activated state, an instruction for booting a second program stored in the second recording medium that is connected to the connection section on booting of the BIOS; and a controller which, performs a check when booting of a BIOS, if the second recording medium is connected and the instruction has been input while the information processing apparatus is in an activated state; in case when the second recording medium is connected and the instruction has been input is confirmed, the control section boots the second program; and in case when it is not confirmed, the control section boots the first program.

    • There is described a network system for processing image data and printing an image based on the image data. The system includes image-processing apparatus and an image printing apparatus coupled to each other in a network. Each of the image-processing apparatus includes a rasterization processing section to generate first rasterized pixel data; an image data transmitting section to transmit the image data to another image-processing apparatus, which generates second rasterized pixel data; a pixel data receiving section to receive the second rasterized pixel data; and a pixel data transmitting section to transmit either the first rasterized pixel data or the second rasterized pixel data to the image printing apparatus as print-rasterized pixel data. The image printing apparatus includes a print-rasterized pixel data receiving section to receive the print-rasterized pixel data in order to print the image according to the print-rasterized pixel data.

    • In a vehicle seat (car seat 1) including a first seat portion (seat cushion 10) movable between a use position and a retracted position, and a second seat portion (seat back 20) movable between a use position and a retracted position, an actuator mechanism is configured to cause the second seat portion to start moving toward its retracted position at a time when the first seat portion passes a predetermined intermediate position that is on a way from the use position toward the retracted position. In one embodiment, the actuator mechanism includes a biasing member (torsion spring 13, 23) configured to bias each of the seat cushion 10 and the seat back 20 from the use position toward the retracted position, a lock member (lock arm 42) configured to lock the seat back 20 in the use position, and an unlock device (cable 44, 42A) configured to release the lock member to cause the seat back 20 to start moving toward the retracted position, at a time when the seat cushion 10 passes the predetermined intermediate position that is on the way from a posture in which the seat cushion is ready for use toward a posture in which the seat cushion 10 is tipped up.
