摘要： A thermal transfer sheet which is capable of preventing ground staining, trailing, etc., at the time of printing and has been improved in image density, resolution, etc., is provided by forming a sensitizing layer having a lower melt viscosity than an ink layer between the ink layer and a substrate film, even when such a thermal transfer sheet is used for an n-fold recording mode. Further, a thermal transfer sheet suitable for an n-fold recording mode which is capable of uniformly transferring an ink layer, is capable of preventing white dropout, ground staining, trailing, etc., at the time of printing, and has been improved in image density, resolution, etc., is provided by forming a surface layer on the surface of the ink layer, and forming the ink layer and surface layer so that the ink layer has a melt viscosity of 1000-5000 cps at 100.degree. C. and the surface layer has a melt viscosity of 2000-10000 cps at 150.degree. C.

摘要： A thermostable lipase gene coding for a thermostable lipase, a vector having this gene, a transformant containing this vector, methods for preparing them and for preparing a thermostable lipase by cultivating the transformant are disclosed. The thermostable lipase gene is obtained from a cell belonging to the bacterial strain Pseudomonas sp. KWI-56 by a technique of genetic engineering. The thermostable lipase gene is inserted into a high expression vector, which is introduced into a cell of a host microorganism to prepare a transformant. By cultivating this transformant, a thermostable lipase can be produced.

In such a composite thermal transfer sheet, the thermal transfer sheet is firmly bonded to the transfer-receiving material so as not to cause wrinkles or deviation, both of these members may easily be peeled from each other so that the ink layer is exactly transferred to the paper in a transfer region and it is not transferred thereto at all in a non-transfer region, whereby the transfer-receiving material is not contaminated. Further, when at least one end portion of a sheet-type composite thermal transfer sheet is fixed, there is provided a composite thermal transfer sheet wherein unintended peeling is prevented.

摘要： A composition for application to the skin to protect the skin from the long wavelength ultraviolet ray comprises a dibenzoylmethane derivative of the following general formula ##STR1## in which X represents a hydrogen atom, a monovalent metal cation, an organic cation, a linear or branched alkyl group having from 1 to 24 carbon atoms, or a polyoxyalkylene oxide having 2 or 3 carbon atoms, Y and Z each independently represent a hydroxyl group, a linear or branched alkyl group having from 1 to 24 carbon atoms, or an alkoxy group having from 1 to 24 carbon atoms, or a polyoxyalkylene oxide group having from 2 to 3 carbon atoms, and m and n are independently an integer of from 0 to 3.The composition is adjustable so as to have an optimum HLB balance and has good compatibility with various cosmetic bases. Further, it does not irritate the skin, is difficult to be percutaneously absorbed and shows continued skin-protecting effects.
