    • An IC card device has a frame, a print circuit board which is supported by the frame and on which are mounted electronic parts such as IC's or the like, as well as connectors, and a pair of electrically conductive covers which cover front and rear surfaces of the print circuit boards and which are fixed to the frame. The electrically conductive covers have elasticity and channel shaped bent portions at least on both side edges thereof. The frame has tapered surfaces at least in both external side corner portions thereof as well as slits on both external side surfaces thereof. Both side edges of the channel shaped bent portions are caused to slide, when the electrically conductive covers are pressed towards each other, along the tapered surfaces into engagement with the slits.

    • A telephone set provided with a telephone ringer for producing a ringing sound, a telephone number storing device for storing a telephone number of a specific party in response to a registration operation performed by a user, a telephone number detecting device for detecting telephone number data input from a telephone line and a control device for controlling and causing the ringer to produce a ringing sound when a telephone number indicated by the telephone number detected by the telephone number detecting device matches the telephone number stored in the telephone number storing device. Thereby, when the specific party phones the user, the user can easily know this. Consequently, the telephone set can prevent the user from making an unnecessary response to a call given by a calling party other than the specific party.

    • A radio communication apparatus includes a device for sequentially discriminating whether or not different frequency channels are open or occupied and generating channel-condition signals representative thereof during each of cycles of a channel scan. A device detects a variation between a current channel-condition signal and a preceding channel-condition signal in respect of each of the channels. The current channel-condition signal is currently generated by the discriminating device. The preceding channel-condition signal is outputted from the holding device. A device detects whether or not a given identification signal is present in the channel where the detected variation occurs.
