    • A fuel pump for a vehicle comprises: a driving motor; an impeller having a substantially circular shape, the impeller being rotatable by operation of the driving motor; and a pump casing covered with a casing cover, the pump casing and casing cover together defining a central cavity for receiving the impeller rotatable therein, the pump casing and casing cover including a fuel inlet port and a fuel outlet port, the pump casing and casing cover each further including a circular groove formed along the surface thereof in respective fluid communication with the central cavity of the pump casing and casing cover. The impeller includes a plurality blades of generally V-shape cross-section disposed along an outer surface of the impeller with a plurality of blade grooves defined between the blades, the blade grooves in fluid communication with respective circular groove of the pump casing and casing cover, wherein each of the blades includes a fuel inlet blade portion disposed at an inner area of the blade grooves and a fuel outlet blade portion disposed at an outer area of the blade grooves, with a boundary portion disposed between the fuel inlet blade portion and the fuel outlet blade portion, in which a front surface angle and a rear surface angle of each of the fuel inlet blade portion and the fuel outlet blade portion respectively varies relative to the length of each of the blades.

    • Disclosed is a wheel locking device for vehicles which prevents an unauthorized movement of the vehicle. The wheel locking device for vehicles comprises a supporting disk 10 attached to an outer side surface a wheel 3 and provided with arms 15, fixtures 20 inserted into the arms so as to surround a circumferential surface of the wheel 3, clamping pins 30 for fixing the fixtures 20, a guard disk 35 for surrounding an outer side surface of the supporting disk 10 so as to cover the clamping pins 30, a clamping bolt 40 for holding the guard disk 35 and the supporting disk 10 together, a lock 45 for locking the clamping bolt 40. The wheel locking device is easily assembled and attached to the wheel, and is effectively protected from an unauthorized separation from the wheel. Further, the locations of the fixtures are adjusted according to the size of the wheel of the vehicle or the fixture has a folding-type structure easily fixed to the wheel without interfering with the frame of the vehicle, thereby being firmly secured to the wheel.

    • Improved head gimbal assemblies reducing TMR (Track Mis-Registration) in a hard disk drive are provided. These head gimbal assemblies are as mechanically simple as contemporary head gimbal assemblies, support parallel flying sliders over flat disk surfaces, and reduce TMR' induced by disk vibration. They are easier to build, more reliable, and cost less to make, than other known approaches at comparable track densities and rotational rates. The improved head gimbal assemblies include three sets of mechanisms moving the slider parallel the disk surface, when the disk surface is flat, and radially moving the slider toward the track, when the disk surface is bent. The first and third mechanisms as well as the second and third mechanisms can be used together in a head gimbal assembly.An improved and distinctive servo-controller scheme resulting in an overall improvement in PES performance, particularly when applied to hard disk drives employing the invention's TMR reduction mechanisms. The servo-controllers trade off gain in the disk vibration frequency range, in favor of, increased rejection of low frequency disturbances. This leads to the lowest PES statistics, when applied to hard disk drives with the TMR reduction mechanisms of the invention.
