    • PURPOSE:To provide a coolant bypass free from such problems as loosening or separation of parts by locating a water pump and a thermostat in a place which as a wall surface approx. perpendicular to a cylinder block in its position close to the corner. CONSTITUTION:A water pump 7 is furnished at the wall surface on one cylinder bore 21 side of a cylinder block 2 in such a location as close to the corner formed with another wall surface approx. perpendicular which is the upper part of the cylinder block 2. A thermostat 8 is installed in the upper part of the wall surface of the cylinder block 2 approx. perpendicular to the mounting surface for water pump 7, and the mounting surface for the thermostat 8 is located close to this mounting surface for water pump 7. Thereby the cylinder block 2 and the coolant bypass shortcircuiting from cylinder head side to water pump 7 side can be formed within the cylinder block 2 and cylinder head. This enables elimination of using such parts as rubber tube or clamp for the bypass.

    • PURPOSE:To facilitate the ignition timing control with a simple mechanism by oscillating an oscillation member magnetically in response to the revolution of a disk which is turned synchronously with an engine and moving an ignition trigger coil. CONSTITUTION:When an engine is driven to turn a crankshaft, a disk 10 is immediately turned counterclockwise. An electro-magnetic force moving each of a plurality of magnets 13 and 14 toward the disk 10 is generated between both the vortex current generated at the disk 10 and the magnetic field of each of the magnets 13 and 14. An oscillation board 12 is oscillated clockwise through the center of a support pin 11 against the load of a spring 16. The oscillation of the oscillation board 12 causes another oscillation board 20 to be oscillated counterclockwise through the center of a support pin 21 via a link 24. As a result, a magnet and a pulser coil which are attached to the end of the oscillation board 20 and not illustrated in the drawing are moved in the direction of having the spark advance with respect to the turn of the disk 10.

    • PURPOSE:To spread the set degree of freedom in control and improve precision by constituting a governor from a disc consisting of a nonmagnetic body which revolves in synchronization with the revolution of an engine and a magnet which generates an electromagnetic force for swinging a swing member according to the revolution of the disc. CONSTITUTION:When a disc 3 consisting of a nonmagnetic body which revolves in synchronization with the revolution of an engine revolves, an electromagnetic force nearly proportional to the engine revolution speed is generated between an electric eddy current generated on the disc 3 by a magnet 6 and the magnetic field generated by the magnet 6. When the engine revolution speed is equal to a set value, the electromagnetic force acting onto a swing arm 5 and the pulling force of a spring 7 are made equal, and the swing arm stops at a constant position. When the engine revolution speed increases over a set revolution speed, the electromagnetic force acting onto the swing arm 5 increases, and the swing arm 5 is swung in the revolution direction of the disc 3, and a throttle valve is turned in the closing direction.

CONSTITUTION:An intake manifold 14 interposed between a carburetor 13 and a cylinder head 12 is shaped through diecasting by using a metal mold. A flat joint surface 19 is formed on the cylinder head 12 side of the intake manifold 14, and a flat installation surface 20 is formed on a carburetor 13 side, and a distribution passage 21 and a cooling water passage 22 are formed in parallel inside. The distribution passage 21 is constituted of an intake distribution recessed part 23 which has a rectangular sectional surface and is opened on the joint surface 19 and a connecting hole 24 which is opened onto the installation surface 20 from the bottom surface of the recessed part 23. The intake distribution recessed part 23 is formed in a draining slope in which the wall surface is directed towards the joint surface 19.

    • PURPOSE:To adjust the engine with the linear governor control characteristic accurately and responsively by relatively positioning a rotor and an oscillating member such that the rotation axis of the rotor and the oscillating shaft of the oscillating member are on the coaxial line. CONSTITUTION:When a disc 2 is rotated to the direction A simultaneously with the rotation of an engine, eddy current is generated at the disc 2 by the magnetic field formed by a permanent magnet 5, and the electromagnetic force for oscillating an oscillating member 4 in the rotating direction of the disc 2 between the eddy current and the magnetic field of the permanent magnet 5 is generated. The extent of the generated electromagnetic force is approximately proportioned to the speed of the disc 2, that is, the engine speed, and the oscillating member is oscillated opposing to a governor spring 6 so as to adjust the engine. In this case, as the disc 2 and the oscillating member 4 are relatively positioned such that the rotation axis 1 of the disc 2 and the oscillating shaft 3 of the oscillating member 4 are on the coaxial line, the rotating direction of the disc 2 coincides with that of the oscillating member 4 so as to obtain the rotating force of the oscillating shaft 3 proportioned to the engine speed.

CONSTITUTION:A fan-shaped balanced weight 55 is mounted in the spot of a drive gear 41 located far side in a 90 deg. arc from the top dead center of a second cylinder 13-2, and a lunate balance weight 53 in the spot of a fly wheel cylinder part 33A located this side in a 90 deg. arc from the top dead center. Thus, an inertia force produced by means of a reciprocating mass can be balanced by displacing a top dead center between cylinders 13 in a 120 deg. arc. Further, an inertia couple by means of a reciprocating mass can be offset by means of the balance weights 53 and 55. The balance weights 53 and 55 are mounted to a fly wheel 33, having radius larger than that of a crank shaft 23, and a drive gear 41 and situated in a spot away from a cylinder center 19, resulting in reduction of a mass. This constitution enables off setting of the inertia couple as the weight of an engine is decreased.

SOLUTION: In the vibration isolator provided with the rubber bush 1 having a thick cylindrical portion 1a on one end and a hollow pipe part 1c inside, a bellows portion 1b of thin wall is formed on the other end of the rubber bush 1, a collar 4 is inserted into the hollow pipe part 1c after inserting an annular mounting groove 1d formed between the cylindrical portion 1a and the bellows portion 1b into an opening 2a of the fastened component, a fastening bolt 6 to be threadely engaged with a fastening nut 5 is inserted into the collar 4, and one end of the collar 4 is made abut on a fastening component 3 and the other end thereof is made abut on the fastening bolt 6 or the fastening nut 5, thereby, when drawing force is applied to the thick cylindrical portion 1a upon dismantling, the rubber bush 1 can easily be removed from the opening 2a, since the thin bellows portion 1b is easily deformed inwardly.
