    • PURPOSE:To inspect the direction and the extent of the bending of a lead wire, by comparing the amount of received light of a spot inputted each image receiving element of a four split image receiving element, detecting the position of the received spot image, and comparing the position with the data on a standard position. CONSTITUTION:The spot of projected light 6 from a point light source 5 is applied on the horizontal part of a tip part 2a of a lead wire 2 of an IC package 1 to be checked. The spot image is received by a 4-split image receiving element 11 through a light receiving lens 10. It is checked in which of the four image receiving parts the image receiving position of the spot is located, or whether the position is formed over a plurality of the image receiving parts. Thus, the amounts of the received light at the image receiving parts are compared, and the position, where the spot image is received, is detected. The data of the image received position are compared with the data of a standard position. Thus, the bending of the lead wire 2 is inspected.

    • PURPOSE:To easily measure the remaining diameter of a trolley line by providing plural optical fibers for light reception to a light receiver and making a light beam from an optical fiber for light projection incident on one optical fiber for light reception at a position corresponding to the remaining diameter of the trolley line and detecting the light beam. CONSTITUTION:The horizontal side 3b of an L-shaped support is hooked on the overhead trolley line 1 and a rope 7 is drawn by the hand; and then a pulley 6 and a pinion 5 rotate and a rack 5b which engages the pinion elevates a mover 4. Here, the plane of a contact part 4b contacts the slide surface of the trolley wire 1 to grip the trolley line 1 with the horizontal side 3b. In this state, the light beam projected horizontally by the optical fiber 4d for light projection is received by one of the optical fibers 8a for light reception and then processor detects its array position to obtain the remaining diameter of the trolley line 1 immediately.

    • PURPOSE:To enable the obtaining of information on acceleration irrelevant to running speed for various abnormal points of a trolley wire, by analyzing an impact force and a vibration force working on a pantograph due to abnormal points of the trolley wire. CONSTITUTION:At a part of a trolley wire 3 has an abnormal point 3-1 and a pantograph 4 passes the point. An accelerometer 5 is mounted at a contact part 4-1 of the pantograph. The pantograph 4 advances in the direction of the arrow. The time t1 and the speed v1 are given at the start point p of the abnormal point 3-1 and change to the time t2 and the speed v2 at the end point (q) with variations in the momentum at the abnormal point 3-1. Here, supposing that the abnormal point 3-1 is short and the pantograph 4 hit it. The accompanying of a corresponding external force, namely, acceleration takes place during the period. At this point, the acceleration is proportional to the square of the running speed v. Thus, the impact on the pantograph at the abnormal point and the pattern of the vibration force can be determined correctly by dividing an output voltage of the accelerometer 5 by the square value of the speed v.
