    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jetting device that can apply a solvent for image formation uniformly over an image recording material. SOLUTION: A lever mechanism consists of a piezoelectric element 326, a lever plate 320, and a support part 312B, and an elastic member 352 is filled between a couple of lever plates 320 and a couple of tank main body constitution materials 312A. A nearly rectangularly sectioned space is formed between the tips of the lever plates 320 and a solvent storage space 316 for storing water is arranged in the said space. This space is charged with an elastic member 354 so that a smooth free curve having no unevenness is drawn, thereby forming the internal wall surface of the solvent storage space 316. A surface adhesive 356 is filled so as to slightly project from a couple of recessed parts 318 constituting a part of the solvent storage space 316 and the internal wall surface of the solvent storage space 316 which stores the water with the smoothly curved surface is formed of the surface adhesive 356 and elastic member 354.

    • PURPOSE: To uniformly apply a small amt. of a liquid to a material to be coated collectively and linearly by providing an actuator displacing the nozzle plate connected to one end part of a displacement transmitting member so as to pressurize the liquid in a pressure chamber and ejecting the filled liquid from a nozzle orifice. CONSTITUTION: Af first, upper and lower valves 350, 352 are opened by a controller 360 and a tank valve 354 is closed and the water of a pool tank 314 is supplied through a pipe 316 to fill a jet tank 312 with water. When water is ejected, voltage is applied from the power supply controlled by the controller 360 to deform all of piezoelectric elements 326 so as to extend them at the same time. Whereupon, displacement is transmitted to a nozzle plate 322 through the revolution around the support parts 318 of a pair of lever plates 320 and the nozzle plate 322 is displaced so as to pressurize the water in the jet tank 312. As a result, the water charged into the jet tank 312 is ejected from the nozzle orifice 324 to be bonded to the potosensitive material 16 during feed.

Provided that an area of a power point of the actuator (58) is represented by S1, and that an area of a point of action of force applied to the second pressure chamber (53) via the pressure transfer section (56B) is represented by S2, the relationship of S1>S2 is satisfied.
