For an information code unable to be corrected, the information code train outputted from the compression circuit is recorded in another recording medium, whereas for the other information code, the compressed information code train to be inputted to the expansion circuit is recorded in the other recording medium. Accordingly, an information code to be subjected to information expansion and second compression processes for dubbing is limited as small as possible, thereby minimizing information deterioration to be caused by such processes.
