    • PURPOSE: Phase change material nanocapsules are provided to maximize thermal control effectiveness and heat sensitivity by increasing a heat transfer rate of an external environment and to enhance durability. CONSTITUTION: Nanocapsules comprise a phase change material phase-changed at room temperature and a polymer shell surrounding the phase change material. The metal particles are fixed to the surface of the shell. A method for preparing the nanocapsules comprises the steps of: homogenizing a solution including the phase change material phase-changed at room temperature and the monomer in a nanometer size; mixing the homogenized solution and emulsifiers to prepare an emulsion; capsulating the phase change material through the polymerization reaction of the emulsion and co-monomer; and immobilizing the metal particles to the polymer shell of the capsule.

    • A polyethylene glycol hydrogel for forming a micropattern is provided to allow chemical bonding with proteins, and to fix the proteins firmly according to a pattern when a micropattern is formed by using photolithography. A method for preparing polyethylene glycol hydrogel for a micropattern includes the steps of: (a) introducing benzophenone to polyethylene glycol hydrogen, and grafting an acrylic compound having a carboxyl group or amide group onto the benzophenone layer to introduce the functional groups to the surface of the polyethylene glycol hydrogel; (b) activating the functional groups introduced to the surface of the polyethylene glycol hydrogel; and (c) forming an amino bond between the activated functional groups and a protein to fix the protein to the surface of the polyethylene glycol hydrogel.
