摘要： An intake opening is defined in a printed circuit board inside a fan cover mounted on the printed circuit board. The intake opening has a particular extent inside the fan cover. This intake opening contributes to improvement in the cooling efficiency of a fan as compared with a conventional intake opening. Moreover, the intake opening allows a sufficient space to remain on the front and back surfaces of the printed circuit board inside the fan cover. Electronic components and/or wiring patterns may be disposed in the space. This contributes to disposition of electronic components and/or wiring patterns at a higher density on the printed circuit board.

摘要： A fan is enclosed in the enclosure of an electronic apparatus. The fan discharges air out of a ventilation opening of the fan itself. Heat radiating fins are located in an air passage extending from the ventilation opening. A dust catcher is removably mounted in an opening of the enclosure from the outside of the enclosure. The dust catcher is located in the air passage between the heat radiating fins and the ventilation opening. The dust catcher serves to catch the dust in the air passage. The dust catcher is removed from the enclosure along with the dust. The dust is thus reliably cleared from the air passage. The dust catcher can then be cleaned. The cleaned dust catcher can again be set in the opening of the enclosure. Airflow of a sufficient amount is in this manner always kept in the air passage.

摘要： A LAN connector is connected with a LAN cable connector inserted thereinto. The LAN connector comprises a flexible portion formed outside a modem-cable-connector occupied space within a housing having a size accommodating the LAN cable connector being inserted thereinto, and a stopper portion formed within the modem-cable-connector occupied space. The stopper portion is displaceable together with the flexible portion. When the modem cable connector is inserted into the housing, the flexible portion is not pushed and bent by the modem cable connector, and the stopper portion stops the modem cable connector. When the LAN cable connector is inserted into the housing, the flexible portion is pushed and bent by the LAN cable connector so as to cause the stopper portion to be withdrawn out of the modem-cable-connector occupied space.

摘要： A fan housing of a fan unit includes a housing wall standing from the surface of a printed circuit board. The printed circuit board serves to establish the fan housing in cooperation with the housing wall. The fan housing further includes a ceiling wall connected to the housing wall. The ceiling wall extends along a datum plane parallel to the surface of the printed circuit board. A high speed airflow can be generated within the fan housing. The airflow promotes the heat radiation from the printed circuit board. An electrically conductive wiring pattern extending over the surface of the printed circuit board may further promote the heat radiation from the printed circuit board.

摘要： A cooling device for a portable electronic comprises a radiation plate and a fin for radiating the heat from the CPU. When the plug of an external power. supply is attached to the body of the portable electronic, the CPU may operate at a high clock frequency. The cooling device achieves a high cooling performance by operating a ventilation fan directed to the fin, for example. When the plug is removed from the body of the portable electronic, the CPU may operate at a low clock frequency. Power consumption can be reduced, so that the electric power stored in the built-in battery can be saved. The duration time of the operation can be extended. Calorific power generated at the CPU can also be reduced, so that the cooling device is adapted to suppress the rise in the temperature of the CPU without operation of the ventilation fan.

According to such a structure, the first heat pipe transfers the heat from the circuit element to the radiator portion in the radiator plate, radiating the heat effectively and efficiently.
