    • The method for 4-D inversion of geophysical data for calculating distribution of subsurface material properties from geophysical data includes (a) defining measured data into space-time coordinates, and defining a reference space-time model vector (U) composed of many reference space model vectors (U) for a plurality of pre-selected reference times to simulate a space-time model vector (P) that is a geologic structure continuously changing in time; (b) approximating a numerical modeling for a geologic structure space model at an arbitrary time using Taylor series of numerical modeling for the reference space models, defining an objective inversion function to constrain each inversion in space and time domains, and obtaining a reference space-time model vector (U) from the measured data defined in space-time coordinates using the objective inversion function; and (c) obtaining a space-time model vector (P) from the reference space-time model vector (U) to calculate distribution of subsurface material properties changing in time.

    • A method and apparatus for outputting a sound source signal by using a virtual speaker are provided. The method includes generating a virtual sound source signal delayed by a virtual delay value, instead of by the minimum delay value, according to a sampling rate of an input sound source signal, from the input sound source signal; generating a speaker output signal in which a sampling rate is changed based on the input sound source signal and the generated virtual sound source signal; and outputting the generated speaker output signal. Thus, a non-uniform radiation pattern, which causes distortion in a sound radiated from a speaker array, is removed and the limitation of a frequency band of a controllable sound source signal is overcome, thereby providing a stable sound.

    • A method for establishing a path between nodes in a wireless network system. A source node broadcasts a route request (RREQ) packet for a destination node. A mobile node between the source node and the destination node, upon receiving the RREQ packet, appends a redundancy degree with respect to an adjacent node to the RREQ packet and broadcasts the RREQ packet. The destination node selects an optimal path by checking the redundancy degree received along each path when the RREQ packet is received along multiple paths, and the destination node establishes an optimal path to the source node by transmitting a route reply (RREP) packet along the optimal path. Accordingly, the path is established suitable for the quality of service of data to be transmitted and a lost path is promptly recoverable by reference to information stored at each mobile node identifying redundant paths available to the mobile node.
