    • PURPOSE:To attain the transmission of double sides of an original with simple configuration by reading originals of a designated sheet number with a read means and using a transmission means to send the read signal continuously to a same destination. CONSTITUTION:When the double sides of an original are sent, a double side transmission button of a transmission sheet number designation means 23 is depressed and a front side of the original is set to an original platen, and a destination is called and the front side of the original is read and sent to the destination. When the transmission is finished, the original is discharged and the communication line with an opposite party is still connected and the facsimile equipment is in operation. When a rear side of the discharged original is set to the original platen, and the rear side is read and sent to the same destination. When this transmission is finished, the original is discharged and the usual mode is restored. Thus, the double side transmission of the original is attained with simple configuration.

    • PURPOSE:To enable improving the efficiency of transmission and reception between a facsimile which transmits a both side document and the facsimile which prints the both sides of received picture data. CONSTITUTION:The transmission side facsimile 1 having a function for transmitting the both side document and the reception side facsimile 21 having the function for both side-printing are respectively provided with both side function informing parts 9 and 29 which inform a communication destination of processing the front and rear replacement of picture data in a rear at the time of transmission and reception, communication destination both side function discriminating parts 10 and 30 which discriminate the presence or absence of the both side processing information from the communication destination and first both side function control parts 11 and 31 which mutually prevent the replacement processing of picture data in the rear so that these facsimiles are the both side document original transmission and reception system of the facsimile where the processing of the front and rear replacement of picture data in the rear surface is useless.
