The method can use spunbonded, melt blown, or electro-static spun techniques for depositing solidifying filaments on outer collection surfaces of a multi-drum system. The multi-drum system may be employed to improve multi-layered web uniformity and the overall quality of the multi-layered web by presenting a single optimal collection surface for each independent web layer being produced.

摘要： A gypsum board comprises a set gypsum layer having a first face and a second face. A fibrous mat is affixed to at least one of the faces. The mat comprises a non-woven web bonded together with a resinous binder. The web comprises a blend of a major portion composed of chopped continuous glass fibers having an average fiber diameter ranging from about 8 to 17 nullm and a minor portion composed of fine staple fibers having an average fiber diameter of less than about 5.5 nullm, the minor portion comprising about 1-30 percent of the dry weight of the web. The board is exceedingly durable. It has a smooth surface that is readily finished in an aesthetically pleasing way, using paint or other wall covering systems.

摘要： A capacitor is formed utilizing a plasma deposited capacitor dielectric wherein the plasma deposition is a two-component reaction comprising a silicon donor, which is non-carbon containing and non-oxygenated, and an organic precursor, which is non-silicon containing and non-oxygenated. The plasma deposition produces a capacitor dielectric that can exhibit a low dielectric constant and, in selected depositions, a response to photo-oxidation induced by exposure to radiated electromagnetic energy in the presence of oxygen. Photo-oxidation of selected depositions can be used to alter the dielectric constant of the capacitor dielectric after the capacitor has been fabricated. The capacitor may be used in precision filter applications.

The method is used for an optical transceiver module assembly process to adhere a protection cover of a laser diode in a metal shell and enhance the adhesion strength thereof. The method employs the following steps. First, the protection cover and the metal shell are provided. A primer layer is coated inside the metal shell. The laser diode is aligned with the metal shell to provide a maximum signal strength position. An epoxy layer is glued between the metal shell and the protection cover to fix the laser diode in the best position. The method further provides a sealant layer to protect the epoxy layer from moisture and a second premier layer to enhance the adhesion strength between the protection cover and the epoxy layer.

摘要： A process for forming an injection molded article including multiple appliques. The process generally includes the steps of: positioning in a mold a first applique including a edge; positioning in the mold a second applique including a terminating end; abutting the second terminating end against the edge in a non-overlapping, substantially perpendicular configuration; injection molding a thermoplastic resin around the appliques to form an article. Because the first and second appliques do not overlap, they will not separate from one another over the life of the injection molded article. Accordingly, multiple applique articles formed according to the process of the present invention maintain their structural integrity and are resistant to warping, peeling and/or separation of the appliques from one another.
