    • A trim coping apparatus includes a support frame having an upper support and a plurality of legs attached thereto. A cutting assembly includes a saw blade and motor for rotating the saw blade. A panel is mounted to the support frame. The panel has a planar upper surface and the saw blade extends above and below the upper surface. The panel and the cutting assembly are movable with respect to each other to allow a portion of wall trim extending over an edge of the panel to be cut by the saw blade. A control guide is in communication with the panel and is configured to follow contouring on a face of a piece of guide trim to restrict movement of the panel and the cutting assembly with respect to each other to allow the cutting assembly to cope an ending of the piece of wall trim.

    • A coping device includes a circular blade, a template having an end provided with a coped profile, a stylus which traces the coped profile of the template and which preferably has substantially the same width and radius of curvature as the blade, clamps for respectively securing the molding and the template in a fixed position, and a base having a stationary portion and a movable portion movable in X and Y directions relative to the stationary portion. The clamps are coupled to the stationary portion, and the blade and the stylus are both coupled to the movable portion. The blade and the stylus are substantially simultaneously movable relative to the clamps so that the molding can be coped with the blade as the stylus traverses the coped profile of the template. The blade and the stylus have the same width, and the stylus is provided with a leading edge having a radiused contour matching the blade. In addition, when coping a crown molding, the blade and the stylus are tiltable to the same angle.

    • The present invention is directed to enhancing the accuracy with which tooth restorations (504) are machined, using a device (100) which can accurately copy mill a dental prosthetic blank from a previously formed dental prosthetic model, and which can closely replicate the feel of a dental tool to which dentists are accoustomed. The device includes a rotatable holding fixture (104) for holding the model to be copied and a second rotatable holding fixture (304) for holding the blank to be milled. The device further includes an upper beam assembly (204) for linear, rotary motion on a linear rotary axis for holding tracing stylus (118) and parallel tool cutting member in mount (202). A mill blank having an outer ceramic and inner resin of a lesser hardness so as to be milled is disclosed.
