摘要： The invention relates to stereo projection systems for displaying stereopaired images on mirror-spherical or parabolic screens and for collectively watching a stereo effect without using stereo spectacles. Said invention makes it possible to continuously dynamically superimpose the projections of the left and right picture frames of a stereopair with the user's left and right eyes, respectively. Such impositions are carried out simultaneously and independently for each viewer. The technical result is attainable by that the inventive stereo projection system comprises stereo projectors which are individually allocated to each viewer and in-series connected, a monitoring system for continuously and accurately determining the viewers' eye positions, a self correcting device, video-correcting devices, automatic drives for the mechanical self-correction of the stereo projectors and the system optical elements, units which are used for forming stereopair projected images in the stereo projector and which are coupled with the video-correcting device for the video-correction of the optimal parameters of the screen images. The inventive system makes it possible to carry out the self- and video-correction in an integral manner in such a way that the comfort of the stereo effect viewing is maximally satisfied.

摘要： The method and system of the present invention displays autostereographic images without parallax barriers or loss of resolution. A stereopair is processed and sent to a distant display and one or more transmissive displays placed in front of it. Each display has a calculated images containing at least some of the image information destined for both eyes of a viewer. Each display acts as a mask for the other displays. The processing of the stereopairs to produce calculated images comprises summing the predicted image data, comparing the predicted image data to the desired stereopair, and minimizing the error. In a preferred embodiment, this processing is performed by an artificial neural network. A spatial mask, such as a diffuser, can be placed between displays to suppress Moir{acute over (e )} patterns.

摘要： An image display system which provides first and second images such that the right eye and the left eye of an observer see the first and second images at different times, respectively. The image display system comprises a camera for taking a picture of the observer and then outputting an image of the observer; a liquid crystal display device transparent to light, for displaying the first and second images at the different times, respectively; a back-lighting device which displays back light images to illuminate the liquid crystal display device from a back side thereof, at the different times; and an optical element for giving directivity to back light emitted by the back-lighting device so that the back-lighting device provides back light illuminations of the LCD device for the right and left eyes at the different times. The apparatus detects centroids or contours of images of the observer taken by the camera, and generates the back-light images on the basis of the centroids or contours. The apparatus synchronizes the display of the back-light images with the display of the first and second images, respectively.

摘要： Left eye and right eye images of an autostereoscopic display are displayed on LCD spatial light modulators which are illuminated by movable light sources via converging lenses or mirrors. A tracking system tracks the position of an observer and a control system controls the positions of the light sources so that the images of the light sources formed by the lenses or mirrors track the observer. The observer thus sees the 3D image while having an enlarged degree of freedom of movement.

摘要： A parallax image generator establishes a plurality of projected regions around a display in predetermined intervals and generates a plurality of parallax images having different parallaxes due to being seen from respective points of view. In addition, pixels of the plurality of parallax images occupying the same position are gathered together in a pixel block, and are mapped to rendering memory corresponding to the display. A parallax image display unit displays mapped images in the rendering memory, projects the light from a pixel toward the projected region corresponding to each parallax image per pixel of the plurality of parallax images in each pixel block, and makes a 3-D image observed by positioning both eyes of an observer in adjacent projected regions and projecting the parallax images.
