    • In order to provide a method for supplying fresh auxiliary material, which is added to a stream (120) of crude gas laden with wet paint overspray before the stream of crude gas passes through at least one filter element (172) for separating the overspray from the steam of crude gas, to at least one filter device (132) which comprises at least one receptacle (176) for auxiliary material, which is in its operating position, while the stream of crude gas is passing through the filter element, which method enables better action of the auxiliary material on the stream of crude gas and makes a particularly efficient supply of fresh auxiliary material to the at least one filter device possible, it is suggested that the fresh auxiliary material be supplied directly into the receptacle for auxiliary material while the receptacle for auxiliary material is in the operating position.

    • A dedusting device and method is disclosed for the dry or moist dedusting (i.e., cleaning, dusting, or removal of dirt, dust, or other debris) from components, e.g., of motor vehicles. An exemplary method may generally include positioning a dusting tool driven by a drive motor in a predetermined dusting position such that the tool contacts or touches the component, and determining a first operating variable of the drive motor of the dusting tool when positioning the dusting tool in the predetermined dusting position. The first operating variable may reflect a mechanical load of the drive motor due to the contact with the component to be dusted. The method may further include calculating a corrected dusting position as a function of the predetermined dusting position and the first operating variable of the drive motor, and positioning the dusting tool in the corrected dusting position.

    • An ink jet is disclosed that may be placed in a bell plate of a rotary atomizer and, when thus placed, forms an annular gap between the ink jet and a distribution disc recess of the bell plate. An exemplary illustration has a common rinsing agent channel running in the ink jet for conducting a rinsing agent for rinsing the bell plate, a first rinsing agent outlet that is supplied with rinsing agent by the common rinsing agent channel and directed forward in a substantially axial direction toward a distribution disc of the bell plate, and a second rinsing agent outlet that is supplied with rinsing agent by the common rinsing agent channel. In the installed state, an exemplary second rinsing agent outlet may empty into the annular gap between the distribution disc recess and the ink jet in order to clean the annular gap with the rising agent.
