    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sunroof device which improves the visibility around a front roof rail.SOLUTION: A sunroof device has a structure where a front end of a movable roof panel 4 continues into an upper end of a front window 5 without sandwiching a roof outer panel and thereby closes an opening of a roof. The sunroof device includes a front roof rail 15 which is attached to an inner surface of the upper end of the front window 5 so as to be arranged along a vehicle width direction and has a substantially closed cross section structure. When the opening of the roof is closed, the front end of the roof panel 4 is placed at an area above a closed cross section space 16 of the front roof rail 15. A front roof stiffener 19 is attached to an upper part of the front roof rail 15, and a lower surface of the front end of the placed roof panel 4 is pressure welded to a seal member 21 fixedly installed at the front roof stiffener 19.
