摘要： A composition suitable for use as a primer coating for a substrate which comprises a halopolymer, an epoxy resin, and an oxide of titanium. The epoxy resin and oxide of titanium are present in amounts effective to provide a primer coating of the composition over a substrate. Preferred halopolymers are ethylene/chlorotrifluoroethylene copolymers and ethylene/tetrafluoroethylene copolymers. Preferred epoxy resins include bisphenol A based epoxy resins and epoxy cresol novolac resins. A preferred oxide of titanium is titanium dioxide. Such compositions are particularly useful as primer coatings for metal substrates.

The method includes a suspension free of colorant to a container, adding one or more suspensions containing one or more colorants on top of the non-colorant containing suspension and adding one or more suspensions containing additional non-colorant ingredients on top of the one or more suspensions including the colorants, closing the container and mixing the suspension using a gyroscopic-type or rotary-type mixing apparatus. The container sidewall and bottom surface are coated with suspensions not containing colorant which prevents colorant materials from adhering to the sidewall and bottom portion of the container thereby providing for a more effective mixing of a customized cosmetic product at the point of purchase.

摘要： A unified process of making an electrical structure includes performing a plurality of laser etching operations on a workpiece, without removing the workpiece from a laser processing system. The workpiece includes a conductive material disposed on an electrically insulating substrate, and the plurality of laser etching operations include, but are not limited to, two or more of forming a fiducial, forming thick metal traces separated by high aspect ratio spaces, cutting an alignment hole, cutting a folding line, and singulating the electrical structure. In another aspect of the invention, a database is prepared, and communicatively coupled to the laser processing system to provide control signals that direct a portion of the plurality of operations of the laser processing system, wherein each plurality of etching operations is defined with respect to a common coordinate system.

摘要： An improved electrosurgical instrument is disclosed and claims which includes a reusable electrode shaft, a disposable tip and a novel, insulated coupling for removably connecting the disposable tip to the electrode shaft. The present invention provides several advantages and features. The coupling provides ease in connecting the disposable tip to the reusable electrode shaft in an operating room environment. Once the tip is connected to the shaft, the coupling ensures a rigid and secure connection between the tip and the shaft, such that the coupled tip/shaft assembly feels to the surgeon like a single, unitary instrument. In addition, the coupling ensures a good electrical connection between the tip and the shaft, prevents the tip from inadvertently or accidentally becoming separated from the reusable electrode shaft, and maintains the position of the tip relative to the shaft by preventing the tip from rotating relative to the holder. The coupling also includes an insulating sheath that eliminates any conduction paths between the patient and the electrosurgical instrument other than the surgical tip.

摘要： Disclosed is a method for coating substrates with a stress-crack resistant coating of a fluoropolymer and a polyfunctional compound having two or more allyl groups such as triallylcyanurate or triallylisocyanurate wherein the fluoropolymer is a polymer comprised of ethylene, chlorotrifluoroethylene or tetrafluoroethylene and optionally a termonomer such as 3,3,3-trifluoro-2-trifluoromethyl propene. The ingredients are homogeneously blended and applied to the substrate which is maintained at an elevated temperature to allow flow-out of the coating mixture thereby forming a stress-crack resistant coating.

Such compositions are particularly useful as a primer coating for substrates such as metals in conjunction with an overlying layer of such copolymers. Coated articles are provided which comprise a substrate, a primer coating fused thereon and comprising such composition and an outer coating of similar copolymers fused to the primer coating.
