    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a lower member from moving to one side when an upper member is tilted to one side.
      SOLUTION: In this seat device 10, a changeover stopper 34 is turned to the front side to permit a connection link 24 to turn to the front side with respect to a cushion frame 28, and in this state, when a seat back 20 and a back frame 22 are tilted to the front side, the connection link 24 is turned obliquely downward to the rear. At the same time, the cushion frame 28 moves obliquely downward to the rear, and an auxiliary link 30 and a front link 32 are turned to the rear side. Consequently, the seat back 20 is tilted to the front side, and the seat cushion 26 is moved obliquely downward to the rear. The seat cushion 26 can thereby be prevented from moving to the front side when the seat back 20 is tilted to the front side.

      SOLUTION: The seat device 10 includes a seat back 48 to take a raised attitude and a seat cushion 46 elongated forward from the seat back 48. A forward moving link 36 and a reverse moving link 38 are rotated forward around base ends while the seat back 48 is rotated into the vertically raised condition, and thereby the seat cushion 46 is raised vertically in front of the seat back 48. Accordingly the wall surface of the luggage compartment 14 behind the seat back 48 is formed by the rear surface of the seat back 48 where no locking mechanism is provided, so that the appearance of the compartment 14 can be enhanced. Further because the seat back the seat back 48 is moved forward when the seat cushion 46 is raised vertically, it is possible to widen the compartment 14 and enlarge the oversurface opening of the accommodation chamber 18.
