    • A contact safety and trigger mechanism for use with a pneumatic fastener in order to permit efficient pneumatic fastener actuation mode selection. A rotating rod is included in a contact safety assembly which is constructed to slide toward/away from a driver housing, defining a piston for securing a fastener disposed within the piston's path of travel. The rotating rod includes a first shoulder or ledge and a second shoulder which is off-set from the first shoulder. The rod may be rotated in order to orientate the selected shoulder, to function as a stop for a pivoting trigger assembly, which is constructed to contact a pneumatic valve, to initiate a fastening event in-which a fastener is driven into a workpiece. The configuration of the rotating rod permits for selection between a contact actuation mode wherein movement of the contact safety initiates securing of a fastener and a sequential actuation mode in which the trigger assembly is manipulated by a user to trigger securing of a fastener after the contact safety has be depressed towards the driver housing.

    • A method includes receiving a plurality of metric-pattern combinations, each including a respective performance metric and a respective graph pattern. The method also includes receiving a corresponding parameter value for a parameter of each respective graph pattern. The method further includes determining an event equation comprising the plurality of metric-pattern combinations and a boolean operator. The method still further includes evaluating the event equation by determining a respective graph pattern fit curve by applying the corresponding parameter value to the respective graph pattern, and determining an operand value based on whether associated performance data for the respective performance metric exhibits the associated graph pattern by matching the respective graph pattern fit curve to the associated performance data. Evaluating the operand values using the boolean operator to determine a result. The method additionally includes displaying a notification, at a user interface, based on the result.

    • A transport cart includes a cart frame with wheels. A load carrier has bottom and side walls and an end wall structure at a first end, opposite a second end. A pivot axle is arranged between the cart frame and the load carrier so the load carrier pivots about a single axis. An interfering stop structure on the cart frame and the load carrier prevents pivotal movement of the load carrier beyond a predetermined angle. The pivot axle is arranged offset relative to a center of gravity of the load carrier. A force applying device provides a pulling force on the load carrier to pivot the load carrier relative to the cart frame. An arrest mechanism may be provided to arrest pivotal movement of the load carrier in a direction opposite of the pulling force, unless the arrest mechanism is released by a user of the transport cart.
