CONSTITUTION:A microcomputer 13 brings a motor 1 into the state where a current is carried only to an auxiliary coil 1b to perform a speed rise stop control at a point of time when the rotating speed of a dehydrating tank detected by a rotation sensor 12 reaches a standard rotating speed (900r.p.m.) set lower than a target rotating speed (975r.p.m.) after the start of the dehydrating stroke for driving the motor 1 in the full current-carried state and starting it up to the target rotating speed. When the time required to reduce the rotating speed of the dehydrating tank to an auxiliary standard rotating speed (850r.p.m.) after the start of the speed rise stop control is shorter than a preset judged value, this is judged to be the unbalance state of the dehydrating tank to lower the target rotating speed to 900r.p.m., and the set time of the dehydrating stroke is extended by one minute.

CONSTITUTION:The drying machine is installed via a stand to the upper part of the washing machine. The motor of the washing machine is provided with a revolution sensor for detecting a wash weight. The motor of the drying machine is provided with a revolution sensor for detecting the amt. of the matter to be dried. A control circuit of the washing machine and the drying machine is connected by a cable. The wash weight of the dry state is detected (S1) when a washing process is started. The weight of the wash in the hydrous state is detected (S4) after dehydration and the moisture content of the wash is determined (S5). This data is transmitted ($68 to the drying machine side. The amt. of the matter to be dried is detected (S9) when the drying operation of the wash is started (S8). The optimum drying time, heater output and the initial forward inversion period of a rotary drum are set (S10) from the amt. of the matter to be dried and the dehydration rate and the drying operation is executed (S12).

Therefore, a stepdown transformer is obviated, and size reduction and weight reduction can be attained. Common use of one power source terminal 36a of the AC power source 36 and plus side output of the DC constant voltage power source circuit 37 is made, and this is constituted so that Tl terminals of respective TRIACs 60 to 63 is are connected to one power source terminal 36a, and since a gate trigger signal is set negative, and operation of the TRIACs 60 to 63 is guaranteed, and the circuit constitution can also be simplified.

The light transmittance over the entire part is then 1% at the time of non-driving of both, is 9.5% when only one is driven and 90% when both are driven. As a result, the way of viewing of the reflection plate 11 is changed in various ways by changing the light transmittance in plural stages.
