摘要： PURPOSE:To reduce installation spaces, to obviate occurrences of thermal stresses, and to provide sufficient strength even in the case of a strong wind which causes lateral vibration. CONSTITUTION:An internal tube 14 is extended through an NG outlet header tank 2 provided at the upper end and an LNG inlet header tank 4 is disposed above the tank 2, and liquefied natural gas is fed into the tube 14 through the header tank 2 so that vaporized gas is caused to flow from the lower end of the tube 14 upwardly through the annular passage in an external tube 11, in a U-shaped flow pattern, whereby pressure losses in the tube increases so that the flow of gas is stabilized, and freezing on a heat-exchanging surface is reduced. And the header tanks 2, 4 are disposed in the axial direction of heat-exchanging tube to improve economy of space and further the lower end of the tube 11 is extended to provide a notch 13 on the extended portion 12 thereof so that a guide plate is slidably inserted into the notch 13, whereby the tube 11 is made free in the axial direction thereof, thereby preventing thermal stress from being generated, and vibration or lateral shaking of a heat exchange panel can be avoided even in the case of an earthquake or strong wind such as typhoon.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enable such problems as extension of a heat exchanging panel or complication of pipes and the like to be eliminated by a method wherein a superheater is of a plate fin type heat exchanger, and liquified petroleum gas can be supplied and mixed in a predetermined natural gas passage between the plates. CONSTITUTION:A superheater 20 is of a plate fin type heat exchanger in which fins 22 are held betwen plates 21 and 21 and a desired number of low temperature natural gas passages 24 closed with spacer bars 23 are piled up. A liquified petroleum gas header tank 26 is installed at an upper part of the exchanger, and injection tubes 27 with many punched holes are inserted into the temperature natural gas passages 24 and arranged there. Then, the tubes communicate with the liquified petroleum gas tank 26 so as to enable liquified petroleum gas to be fed into the passage 24. With such an arrangement as above, it is not necessary to generate natural gas of temperature of 0 deg.C or higher at a front stage and a load at the front stage can be reduced, resulting in that it is possible to reduce the number of heat exchanging panels.

摘要： PURPOSE:To stabilize the temp. of the gas discharged from a double-pipe LNG vaporization apparatus employing seawater as a heat source by arithmetically controlling the amount of seawater sprinkled over a vaporizer based on the seawater temp. and LNG load and arithmetically controlling the amount of seawater sprinkled over a superheater based on the LNG temp. CONSTITUTION:The conventional LNG vaporization apparatus shown in Fig. II (which comprises a vaporizer 1, a superheater 2, and seawater valves 5a and 6a for controlling the outlet temps. respectively) has unstable outlet temps. because of its constitution. As shown in Fig. I, the amount of seawater sprinkled over a double-pipe vaporizer 10 is calculated by a controller 15 based on the temp. of the seawater and the amount of load imposed on the LNG, and is regulated with a valve 18 so as to attain a predetermined outlet temp. The amount of seawater sprinkled over a superheater 12 is calculated by a controller 23 and regulated so as to discharge a natural gas having a predetermined temp. By this feedforward control method for controlling the vaporizer, the temp. of the discharge gas can be stabilized and seawater can be sprinkled in a proper amount.
