    • PURPOSE:To prolong the change duration of a secondary battery as a power source for the lighting and control devices, etc., of a gas lamp by receiving solar light via the transparent part of a lamp globe main body, arranging a solar battery in a portion receiving luminescence from a mantle, and connecting chargeably a secondary battery to the solar battery. CONSTITUTION:A solar battery 37 is arranged in a portion receiving solar light via a transparent part (reinforced glass) 24 and luminescence from a mantle 17. A secondary battery 39 is connected chargeably to the solar battery 37. That the circumference of a gas lamp becomes given or more darkness due to sunset is detected by the solar battery 37, an optical sensor, to open an electromagnetic valve 49 via a control circuit 47 to blow off gas from a gas burner 31. Concurrent with this, voltage is applied between the positive and negative electrodes 34 and 32 of a lighting device 51 to generate spark discharge to light diffused mixed gas. When brightness becomes a given or more degree by dawn or the extinguishment of the gas lamp by strong wind etc., this is detected by the solar battery 37 or a thermocouple 36 to close the electromagnetic valve 49 via a circuit 47.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid heater capable of avoiding the noise in the heater by preventing the partial bumping of liquid in a liquid bath, and at the same time easily cleaning the heat exchange section with the liquid. SOLUTION: The liquid heater comprises a water bath 1 for retaining water, a water supply means 2 for supplying water into the water bath 1, a combustion chamber 3 where a gas burner 10 is arranged, exhaust piping 4 that is arranged in the water bath 1, at the same time is connected to the combustion chamber 3 for circulating air that is heated by the gas burner 10 and for heating water in the water bath 1, and a water supply pipe 5 for guiding the hot water in the water bath 1 to the outside of the water bath 1. In the liquid heater, the exhaust piping 4 is made of a cylindrical member that is arranged nearly horizontally in the water bath 1, a fin 6 extended in the longitudinal direction is formed on the inner-periphery surface, and at the same time water in the water bath 1 is heated on the outer-periphery surface.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance durability even in a long use by constituting a gas light mantle with a seating and a light emitting net body and fixing the light emitting net body to the fixing part in the seating with a heat resistant inorganic adhesive. SOLUTION: A gas light mantle consists of a seating 2 and a light emitting net body 3, and the light emitting net part 3 is fixed to a upper fixing part 4 in the seating 2 with a heat resistant inorganic adhesive 4. The adhesive 4 is a ceramic adhesive mainly comprised of silica and alumina, whose coefficient of thermal expansion is as small as 3×10 / deg.C, and is small in difference between expansion and contraction is abrupt temperature changes when turning light on and off. Since the adhesive fixing part has wider contact area than wire bonding, the ignition shock when lit on is dispersed over larger area. Since the light emitting net body 3 and the seating 2 are bonded with the heat resistant inorganic adhesive with small coefficient of thermal expansion, previous baking of the gas light mantle 1 is eliminated, and the gas light mantle 1 is backed by direct backing when a gas light is lit.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooking pot for general purpose, which is useful in cooking of various kinds of food materials at lunch distribution centers, hotels and restaurants. SOLUTION: This cooking pot for general purpose comprises a pot main body A to which a forced combustion gas burner C at the center, and an air discharging duct 22 at the peripheral part are respectively communicated and connected, and a detachable cooking pot B which is received and mounted on the pot main body A, and on the internal surface of the pot main body A, a heat insulting lining layer which can surround the bottom surface 12 of the cooking pot B, is formed. Then, a heat absorbing fin 36 for the forming of a hot air detour passage S3, which increases the surface area of the bottom surface 12 of the cooking pot B, and also, makes the hot air of a gas burner from the central part to the peripheral part in such a manner that the hot air may meander as if linking the whole area or spirally flow, together with a heat insulating lining layer, is integrally protruded from the bottom surface 12 of the cooking pot B.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mantle for illumination having a thicker stereoscopic structure, increase the luminescence intensity, extend the life, and manufacture it at a low cost by carrying a luminescence composition for illumination on a mantle base material woven by three-tack dapple-knitting. SOLUTION: No.20-40 count cotton yarns or cotton-mixed yarns are preferably three-tack dapple-knitted to weave a mantle base material 10. In this case, 8-15 gauge round knitting machine is used, and the mantle base material 10 has the roughness that combustion gas and air pass through it after baking. The fiber quantity per unit area is increased, and the knitted yarns are arranged to be overlapped in the vertical direction due to the tension caused by an increase of the number of cotton yarns at tack portions. The base material 10 becomes a secondary molding through the degreasing process by an NaOH aqueous solution, the primary molding for covering on a base, immersing in a luminescence liquid made of Al, Y, Cr and Ce, and the ceramic process by backing. A binder is sprayed to it to obtain this mantle. Preferably, 8-15 stitches are used per 1 inch for weaving.
