摘要： The optical glass has a refractive index nd of 1.945≦nd≦1.97, an Abbe number νd of 33≦νd≦36, and a composition with the following components in amounts expressed in % of their cations, with respect to the total number of cations in the composition: B3+, 35-46; La3+, 25-35; Ta5+, 6-14; W6+, 6-13; Zr4+, 1-7; Gd3+, 0-5; Nb5+, 0-4; Y+3, 0-4; Ba2+, 0-2; Σ alkaline earth metal cations, 0-2, Σ La3++Ta3++W6++Zr4++Gd3++Nb5++Y3+≧50; and at least one fining agent, 0-0.3. Also a ratio of B3+ to La+3 is 1.1 to 1.6 and a ratio of B3+ to Σ Si+4+B3+ is ≧0.5. The glass is free of lead, arsenic, Ti4+, Th4+, Zn2+, F−, and Hf+4.

This borosilicate glass is especially advantageous for production of flash tubes, gas discharge lamps, and fluorescent tubes for brake lights and display backlights.

摘要： The present invention relates to the use of lead-free and phosphate-containing glasses, preferably coloured and filter glasses which absorb light in the infrared region (IR-region), in a precision moulding process. Preferably, the content of fluorine in the glass is low. Advantageously, so optical constituents can be produced without finishing, such as for example lenses for digital cameras. By the use according to the present invention, also other optical constituents can be produced which can be directly used for a corresponding technical purpose. For an advantageous use, the optical constituents produced by precision moulding can be used in the fields imaging, projection, telecommunications, optical communications engineering and laser technology.

It has a refractive index nd of 1.50 to 1.57, an Abbé number νd of 61 to 70. It also has a low transformation temperature of about or below 400° C., good production and processing properties and crystallization resistance. It has a composition, in percent by weight, based on oxide content of P2O5, 40 to 60; Al2O3, 1 to 20; B2O3, 0 to 15 to 40; BaO, 1 to 20; ZnO, 1 to 20; SrO, 0 to 5; CaO, 0 to 5; MgO, 0 to 5; and ΣMO, 5 to 25. In addition, it may contain standard refining agents, although it is preferably free of arsenic and fluorine.
